My daughter lost the cable from her Hesh2 headphones. If it's the same and a standard headphone socket fitting, you can get these everywhere.

it is the cable that fits into the headphones,i have took them back to ARGOS but they have called be a liar and accused me of splitting the cable myself, which i haven't and have refused to replace them.
Seems to me that it is like taking back a pair of shoes back because the lace snapped. Buy a generic cable , unless it is for a 200 metre length you wont notice any difference in sound quality.

Meh, I'm not sure that's really the point. If you've spent £500 on a pair of shoes you'd probably want to replace the laces with the exact same "italian leather hand made" laces that came on the shoes in the first place - regardless of whether a 1.99 pair would function, or look, as good. If you've bought Beats, you're putting style over function, so whether or not something else would function as well really isn't the point...

That's not bad. I was thinking they may be £50.

If £50 you may as well buy some £50 new headphones from Sennheiser, AKG etc, likely to sound just as good if not better and better made.

..bit confused...that's not official, so why not just buy something like this:

OK, doesn't say "BEATS" in the description, but that's basically the only difference...or is the nice colour important?

Argos isn't the best place to buy headphones.

I recently returned a set of AKG to Richer Sounds when they developed a strange (also cable) issue; they replaced them without any problems.
I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

  • Try taking them back to a different branch of Argos.
Then take a good hard look at yourself, and ask youself are you sort of person who wants to buy something for its pose value, despite being poor value for money.
I'm sure you can buy a Ferrari watch, but Ferrari make cars not watches, they just get the money for licencing out the name to the highest bidder, who make them as cheaply as possible.
Louis Vuitton suitcases are no better than Samsonite, but its all about the pose-value.
As previously said Beats are made by Monster, who were nothing more than an overpriced cable manufacturer pre-2008.
(They kept Comet in business until recentlty selling £90 HDMI cables to people buying £80 BluRay players)

Personally I like Sennheiser, if you take a look at their website, you'll see that once you get past the £80 price point, you can get replacement cables, ear-pads, drivers, haedbands, cases etc.

Their HD-25's are very good, as are their IEM's.

The big difference with the Dre headphones is when your phone detects them they enable a specific EQ setting in software that some people like the sound of.

If you're using them with an Android phone then there are hacks around to enable the BeatsEQ stuff on any device and with any headphones.
