Well nearly the end of the weekend once again.
Several small OP's this week, largely to round the mort o/d down to a nice round £15950, at least until the interest added at the end of the month.
Back into the routine of school and work now, good and bad about that I suppose. Nice to have some normality, but a bit of a grind doing packed lunches, homework nagging etc.

Hoping to have total overall owing down to below £80,000 by the end of the year, should be doable as long as all planned overpayments take place. am sure the kids won't mind skipping xmas presents in order to help the efforts. :rotfl:

Need to get backside in gear and meal plan the week ahead, gluts of plums and apples at the moment. Am having to learn about low-sodium diets too, hubby just been advised needs to go on one. On well, if I stop buying salt it will be vaguely MSE I guess.

off to [STRIKE]doze off[/STRIKE] watch the Grand Prix, while hubby at cricket and kids trashing their bedrooms.

End of another weekend, bit of a pattern emerging here.
Not a bad week all in all.
No OP's likely until end of month now, need to juggle some pennies as having the new rads installed soon, which will help to keep us toasty if not very MSE.
Also hubby and I going away next weekend for 3 nights, for our anniversary, again not very MSE, but am looking forward to it. Loads to do this week in preparation, as fab mummy is coming to stay to look after fish, cat, dogs and most importantly kids.
Have meal planned for the week including prepping meals for while we are away. Have lists of my lists of things to do before going away, but will be worth it when sat in armchair, with book and glass of vino next Friday.

Off to watch some rubbishy tv in front of the fire. x

Ooooh, forgot to say had pay rise of whooping £1.41 agreed this month, first in 4 years. Only after member of public objected to it, (work for a parish council, so have to publically discuss pay rises, yuck!)

It won't pay the mortgage off over night, but might make the odd tilly tidy a bit more likely.
Shan't spend it all at once. :D:D:D

Well, its been a while since I have posted ( bit of an understatement that!) but have still be hanging around reading diaries occasionally posting on others and most importantly paying things off.
Thought it time to dust off the diary and try to gain some extra focus.
Work wise have increased work and there income, however have also had to do various expensive household repairs. Still on target for mortgage freedom in May 2022, which is half way between when DH and I both turn 50, which isn't bad going.

So have updated signature to show stats as at end of March 2015. Hopefully I have managed to do that correctly!
Things on the agenda today to help include
    1) parentals over for lunch, but bringing home grown new potatoes and puddings with them.
    2)No Spend day
    3) hopefully some free electricity if the sun gets a little bit bolder.
    4) Collect some free logs for the wood burner we have been offered - in parents manky old car to save making a mess in mine :T

    Jobs to be done include
    a) First coat of varnish on newly installed skirting board in play room/conservatory/previously storage area.
    b) bathing of entire family
    c) Lunches prepped for tomorrow
    d) Ironing of school and work uniforms
    e) Tidy house to make vaguely presentable for parental visit - luckily they are coming to see us and the kids, not the dust.

Best finish this cuppa and get on, will try not to leave it 18 months until next posting

eta Signature update has failed, will add that to the list of jobs to do later.

Updated, must try using that pesky Save button more often.
Tea almost drunk, running out of excuses to get on with jobs now.

    Thanks LiL.
May 22 is realistic, but may be able to get a it a bit earlier than this. Or may be later if ancient boiler/cars etc decide to pack up on us, which is quite likely. So still with May 22 for now, which I realised yesterday is 7 years and 1 week away, so potentially maybe only 84 months of payments yes. That's a bit :j and a bit  at the same time!

    Jobs to be done include
    a) First coat of varnish on newly installed skirting board in play room/conservatory/previously storage area. Not done, wrong varnish, getting right stuff today.
    b) bathing of entire family - achieved, we smell nice. :D
    c) Lunches prepped for tomorrow - done
    d) Ironing of school and work uniforms - not needed, sufficient left over from last week for me to avoid that job until tomorrow.
    e) Tidy house to make vaguely presentable for parental visit - luckily they are coming to see us and the kids, not the dust - done

Long day ahead today, should finish work by eight tonight, local crossroad closure could make getting anywhere interesting!

Apart from bread, milk and varnish should be no other spends today! And it's nearly the end of the month, so nearly payday!!!
