Orange to EE - magic numbers

My other half has been on the phone about various issues in changing over.
Magic numbers are definitely out but they did do some tweaking with her discounts,
We both get the 25% perk which is not transferable to EE like loyalty discounts, however they did just alter the discount name so the 25% is now a loyalty not perk, so she's quite happy
Think she gets u/l mins & text and 2gb free iPhone5 for around £28 p/m
I lose my magic number to call her though

Although T-mobile and Orange are all supposed to be part of EE the roaming conditions for example for Switzerland are very different. With T-mobile it costs £1 / min to receive a call and with Orange it is 7.9p/min and if I want to switch from T-mobile to Orange it is like going with an entirely different company, so what is the point of EE?

Everyone that had me added as a magic number kept me as one... But I lost mine but like others have said EE plans all have unlimited calls so magic numbers for you would be useless... Your colleagues would get texts if they lost a magic number... I used too.
