Orange to EE - magic numbers

Equally, given that EE is the same company as Orange, why aren't Magic Numbers honoured on EE?
It's not as convenient to call people back, as it wastes time. It's fine to have such an arrangement between close friends, but it's awkward between business contacts for example.
Because they are all run as separate company's doing different contracts even though they are the same owner EE.
I would think also you would loose the magic numbers if you transfer to EE.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
Yes you would lose your magic number as EE is not part of Orange but a completely new network0

Incorrect (as if your spelling of "companies"). Orange is a brand name of Everything Everywhere Limited, trading as EE. There is no economic reason for a number under an EE-branded contract to be excluded as a Magic Number for callers on an Orange-branded contract. All the brands (EE, Orange and T-Mobile) are running on the same network.
I'm sorry but what your saying is incorrect. Everything Everywhere is the parent company who manage all 3 brands ( EE/Orange/T-Mobile) seperately. They are 3 different networks just all manged by the same parent company0 -

That's what I said - 3 brands all under one company, Everything Everywhere Limited. Although Orange and T-Mobile previously operated separate networks with free national roaming between the two, these have now been merged into one unified EE network and all three brands operate on that single network.
All 3 are currently classed as 3 different networks even though they are all managed by Everything Everywhere. So offers you would have had on Orange or Tmobile would not apply if you moved to the EE network0 -

You cannot go in to T-Mobile and get the same contract as Orange or EE
