  • Hi!

Thanks ETO for starting us off again this week.

What a hectic week that was! I managed to spend £9.53 of my allocated £10.00. Am happy with that but could have spent less! This week I'm allocating £8.00.

    Thanks
    Have a great weekend everyone!

    Cheers

Thanks for the shiny new thread ETO - you're an :A

Stayed under budget last week so £1.65 difference transferred to my VSP

Travelling with work this week which usually incurs extra expense.....I'm going to include anything that I can't claim back in my budget for this week.

    Monday & Tuesday:
    - spends at airport £5
    - taxi fare from airport to hotel (can claim some but not all) £10
    Wed
    - coffee while waiting for DD - £1.60
Thu, Fri, Sat - NSDs hopefully

I'll round up to £20 for this week please. Posting in green to inspire me to keep to that colour all week :)

    Hi,

I managed to stay in budget last week £46.00/£48.00

This week I am going to try and stick to £20.00

    Thanks
  • Hi everyone.

    First post updated to here.

Well bit of a disastrous start to the challenge week. Overspent on my grocery budget already,:eek: which means I have dipped into weekly spend money, and will need small top up of bunny veg later in the week. So really not sure how I am going to manage. Really don't want to dip into savings.

    Sunday - petrol £20, groceries £27.39. Ooops.
    Monday - NSD
    Tuesday - cinema - £?
    Wednesday - NSD
    Thursday - NSD
Friday - PAYDAY. Small top up, bun veg.
    Saturday - paper £2.

Apart from bunny veg I have everything else I need for the week. So will try extra hard.

Hope everyone's had a good weekend.

We would all be rich if we didn't have to eat or run a car wouldn't we :)

Kids enjoyed spending their dad's pennies today, so onto spending my own budget funds for the rest of the week, Nothing planned apart from needing to send £10 to my young sister in law for her birthday :o So thats a 3rd of my budget, so going to try and be good all week.

    I know...

And for us it's only going to go up when bab arrives in May. Well grocery budget will, but hoping petrol will come down as planning on walking everywhere!

I just can't see how I can reduce my budgets much more but also actually live and enjoy myself. I am lucky that we don't have loads of debt, but really want to overpay the mortgage, take a years maternity leave and go back part time.

    Wishful thinking....
