I can confirm just back from Bognor Entertainment Passes were not needed :T

Really? We are going on Monday and was undecided about adding them back on. How to you get into the swimming pool etc?

I phoned and was told that wristbands were issued at Bognor and so paid for the passes. Also upgraded to a 2 bedroom standard appt with one extra child. Cost £27.50.
From what I've googled only certain weeks have wristbands issued, ie school holidays or music weekends.

If he is old enough then drop him off outside when you first arrive. Then walk out of the bottom gates when you have your keys and walk back in with him.

    school holiday???
Do you reckon I'll not get away without them then??? as we are not only going in School holiday we arrive Aug Bank hol!!!!
  • I can confirm we got back from Skegness yesterday and entertainment passes were not needed at all, I removed mine and spent the £50 I would have spent on them upgrading to silver then on arrival we were told we had been specially selected to receive a free upgrade to gold!!! So we spent our sun holiday in a Gold apartment. We loved every minute (well the kids did) we will definitely be returning. Also the wristbands people have been talking of are nothing to do with entertainment they can be picked up free from guest services and are simply identity bracelets for kids to wear if you are letting them go off on their own/worried about loosing them.232323232%7Ffp543%3C3%3Enu%3D3349%3E354%3E286%3EWSNRCG%3D374%3A484386329nu0mrj

We didn't need entertainment passes and didn't show anything at the swimming pool. Even leaving camp to walk on the seafront it was hit and miss who they checked for key card. If anyone is interested if you have friends visiting at Bognor whilst you are there it's just £5 for a day pass for them, much cheaper than the normal day passes!

Yes I found this to be correct, I was thier weekend just gone also. My son came up on the Saturday night I meet him at the train station and walked back coming through the beach entrance - no questions asked. I was asked for my pass to re-enter on another occasion but just needed to show my room key.

On my last visit they were a bit more vigilant asking for room keys, for swimming & shows but not so much this time. In any case all they will ask for is that. No special passes or anything.
