Butlins Entertainment passes + sun breaks

Has anyone been on a sun break in 2013 yet and removed Entertainment passes on paying the final invoice? I have to pay soon and I know it worked last year but just wondered if anyone has tried in 2013.

We are staying in Bognor

they dont give you enterntainment passes anymore u just have to show your room key, so yes i would remove them

I haven't started my break yet, but I've got mine taken off. I've taken them off the last 3 times, so hopefully things should be ok. I didn't get any hassle from the customer service people.

Wondered if anyone who cancelled passes has been this year and been okay? We are going at the end of May and I have cancelled mine just hoping we will be able to use the pool ect... (We are going to skegness)

You need them for the pool and evening entertainment. You dont need them for the rides. Last time i went they had replaced passes with wristbands

Ive been, just got back yesterday and didnt add the entertainment passes to mine but everything was fine didnt need anything other than my room key

Well I cancelled passes today and the lady said we couldn't use pool, funfair or day & evening shows!! Well I guess we'll have to wait and see Eek!!

I always cancel the entertainment passes as we only use the caravan as a base as we explore the surrounding area. This year though we had trouble as they said they were compulsory so my Husband phoned them up and they removed them for us

My friend visited Skegness Butlins just before the Easter hols started. She didnt go sun hol but direct with Butlins. She tells me that she wasnt given ANY passes at all and that is paying direct. Leads me to believe passes are still not given out at all so a sun hol person should appear no different to a butlins paying person.
