Can those who are going to Butlins in May please report back on how you got on without passes???

You do need them at Haven as they check them at the pool and for the entertainment buildings.. but if you dont want to go in those buildings you don't need them.

Has anyone been recently to Bognor that can confirm whether or not passes are needed?

Also How easy is it to get an extra person in?
Son didnt want to come, as he was working, but now would like to come just for a couple of days? I know in certain parks it's easy enough to get an extra person in but never been to Butlins before.

They usually check your invoice before you drive into the resort. If you are planning on an extra person they either need to be in the boot or not visable or you need to phone up and add them to the booking.

Ok thanks Critchk, Will wait and maybe see what the costs will be nearer the time as son is now wavering. Am tempted to tell him he has missed the boat.

If he is old enough then drop him off outside when you first arrive. Then walk out of the bottom gates when you have your keys and walk back in with him.

I phoned and was told that wristbands were issued at Bognor and so paid for the passes. Also upgraded to a 2 bedroom standard appt with one extra child. Cost £27.50.
