    Good morning everyone,

lil_me - thought you mightve made it a bit easier today, being a bank holiday!!!!

Never mind, will do what i can today - will be cleaning the bathroom and toilets (always do on a monday) today, and will aim to do as much as i can in the kitchen. As its raining, im going to give the washing a miss, and hopefully catch up tomorrow.
Well, better get started (actually would help if i got showered and dressed first!!!).
    Have a good day xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi all,

OH at work all day so just me, dd's and LO all day! Can't see much of the list getting crossed off but going to try for the floor at least.

Told DD's we could bake if baby is in a good mood and will sit and watch us - fingers crossed.

That means kitchen will need doing afterwards anyway.

Michelle - sorry your break wasn't relaxing - it really is just easier to stay home with babies in a good routine sometimes!

Tracyg - glad you are all sorted out now - I wouldn't mind OH going out for a while if it meant wine & choccies !!

Lil-me - busy as ever - hope you get a bit of me time soon xx

Shirley - you deserve to treat yourself with that!

Happy Flying everyone else - will update when I get chance xx

    Morning all

One load of washing done and draped round upstairs (raining).

    Kitchen:
All cupboard fronts wiped down, work surfaces, microwave, top of cooker.
Fridge sorted and wiped out (not much in there, shopping due Wednesday).
    Table wiped (plastic cloth)
Window sill wiped and cat snot cleaned off window :D
    Sink and draining board shining.
    Tiles all wiped too.

Can't do the floors yet, everyone else is still asleep, but will vacuum when there is movement. Wiped round living room too so I can whip the vacuum round there at the same time.

The boogie is the most important though ... it's amazing just how quickly things mount up.

tinselfairy I am also aiming at an empty freezer so we can defrost it when we are away and leave it switched off, also saves me having nightmares about coming back to spoilt food which happened to my parents once when their freezer packed in while they were away!

Queenie and Jet77 welcome, adapt away Queenie, each to their own here, if something else works for you then go for it :) Jet I have no idea why it's 27, but seems to work for me, even taught the kids how to do it, but gets like a competition and DSs will add thing that I don't want flinging (like my diary!) just to get the numbers up :rotfl: so I have to check what they put in their bag.

Solwaykid sounds like a great weekend, hope you had fun with the Northerners (of various sorts) defintely know how to have fun, thing is I don't drink now so when I go out people think I am complete crackers :rotfl: no alcohol required to have a laugh :D

Catowen, I do the same list as it was mentioned last time people still wanted to get on with things, plus it'd mean trying to squeeze it in elsewhere in the week. Good thing is now it's the levels we can aim for lower if we are busy etc, or just say stuff it and do it next week. Trying my bet to keep everyone happy.

torianut I have my me time booked, massage on Wednesday morning, need something before DS1s review at school on Thursday. I always book them for at the end of stressful times or as a relax in the middle. Being in a room with 12 proffesionals, plus all the paperwork before it is stressful.

Michelle, try to get some rest, know what you mean completely about family not being good at thinking when a baby is around, has caused us to stop visitng as often even now the boys are older.

tracyg pleased to hear things are better, moving is very stressful, I did it 4 times in 2 years but my sister has beat me hands down, 8 times, god knows how they do it but they seem to be experts at it now.

Hope everyones having a good day, lost my temper a little this morning and politely told some kids to go away, round here at 8am when kids haddn't had breakfast or got dressed so said come back later, they kept banging on the door over and over again, DP in bed as works nights so told them all to stop banging on the door and go away, they had been asked twice.

Oven soaking, it's a right mess, having to start the list back to front as that needed doing first.

Hope everyone has a good Bank Holiday Monday, weather isn't too bad here but expecting rain later, will be pleased as then I won't have loads of kids in the garden, might even get to the cinema.
One day I might be more organised...........

Ok been reading the fly lady posts for a few weeks now, but gonna try to give it a go this week. I'm pregnant with third child and what with really bad morning sickness and tiredness, a 4 yr old and 9 yr old the house has really slipped. Want to get sorted and if possible declutter before the new baby makes an appearance. Gonna try for level 2 this week, but not beat myself up too much if I only hit level 1. My extra jobs this week are sorting the understairs cupboard and the tower/mountain of ironing sat in the corner of the dinning room. Wish me luck!

Welcome Ali, oh another pregnant Flylady, we've just had a new Flybaby arrive last week as you may have read, I will say the same to you, get your rest when you can and don't overdo it, you'll need your energy when the little one arrives, with babysteps you will get there eventually, just ask the others :) Focus on what you have achieved rather than what you haven't.
