Goodmorning everyone!
Holland is finally seeing some rain again! I never thought I would say it, but I'm glad for it! It has been dry for 9 weeks in a row, and the land was parched. The river has reached an all time low and the government was already talking about water saving measures. Something that rarely happens during the hight of summr, and so VERY extraordinary at the beginning of may!
Anyway, it's been raining steadily all night, and it's still raining now. I can almost hear the garden breathing a sigh of relief!
As for flying:
I am going to switch days for now. My living room is gasping for a clean, especially my floor, so that's what I'm going to be starting on just now. I'll do the kitchen when it's living room day here.
DD2 and DD3 are off to school now. DS and DD1 are still sleeping as they still have today and tomorrow off, and even 2 yrs old rugrat is still snoozing.
So my list for today:
Call dentist to make appointment for DD3's broken tooth.
Tidy living room
dust
clean dining table
clean coffee table
wipe window sils
tidy THE nr1 hotspot: the dresser (yeah my new lovely dresser that gets filled up with crap)
Hoover
Mop the kitchen and living room floor.
Prepare tonight's tea.
Then it's off to work this afternoon.
We'll see when the dentist is going to fit in there some time as well.
I am still trying to wake up for now. Went to bed far too late last night as I got a fit of writing, and once I get going, time just seems to run away with me. YAWN!!!!
Have a good day everybody, I'll be back with a report.

Morning All! Thanks for the hugs, it really means a lot when your down:o Everything is fine again in the G household, DH came back early from his golf with a pizza, wine and chocolate to say sorry being an ar*e lol. It is the stress of trying to move house, most of us know what a nightmare that is, its just getting to us. Now theres a major problem with the garden, it look likes a bloody mountian side:eek: and they expect us to just accept it. Going to site later for another look as they are pushing us to sign contracts on it this week but no way I'm having that. Its a huge family house but has no garden, whats the point of that? The money they want for it, they can shove it:rotfl: Had a good look last night and think we could get away with extending downstairs to give us some more room without moving as we do really like our home.

DH got up with baby and are now both back in bed but baby is full of cold so not too happy so we'll see what we do today, don't want to drag the poor lad about if hes not feeling well. Plus some wally was letting fireworks off at 10pm last night so had one very cross baby at being woke and two terrifed dogs who need nursing, poor little things - they too have gone back to bed.
Right, am off to do more of the list before they all get back up, enojoy your bank holiday!Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

Morning everyone.
I'm back, although extremely shattered from being at the in-laws. We were in bed at 12 on Friday night, then FIL and BIL were back off holiday at 5:30 waking us all up. Then a long day both Saturday and Sunday with lots of relatives making the baby tired and grumpy (loud laughing and stuff making him wake up so he didn't get his naps or get to bed on time) then didn't get back till nearly 10 last night.
Add into that, DH was so shattered from the week that he felt unwell all weekend, so i have had a grumpy DH and baby to deal with, and i am starting the week a bit frayed around the edges.
It's the same every time we go to the in-laws. They don't adapt to having the baby in the house at all. Hope we manage better when we go away with them next month, cos i am more than ready for a really good week away.
Anyway, other than unpacking, shouldn't be too bad today cos i was really good and got lots done on Friday.

Just wanted to add, thanks for the ideas about suitable gaps between children. I really respect you guys as mums, and the advice you gave made me and DH talk some more, and i think we will try again soon, although perhaps more when Charlie is about 1. Although my views swing from hour to hour never mind day to day.
Anyway, i desperately need another cuppa, and from the smell, i am required to change a nappy. The joys.
Have a good day everyone. Hope you are all more rested up than me.

Hello helloo!
I've just caught up with the thread, such a lot has happened since last Thursday when I was last here..
Maralum, FANTASTIC!! I'm so glad things went well and you're getting lots of help and fuss. So pleased for you.
My friend has the same birthday and says he's a Star Wars baby... May the fourth (be with you). ..
I'm very hyper today. Got back late last night from a hen weekend in Dublin. My throat is killing me from all the laughing and talking and singing and shouting. I went with 14 Geordie/Makem/Sand-dancer girls (very regionalist and the distinction is important. Apparently.) and in the most complimentary way, boy can they make their own fun 24-7! (I'm not a N.E girl by the way).
Just the best time I've had in I don't know how long. The rendition of 'Flying without wings' on the flight home wasn't appreciated by everybody on the plane though..
So while I'm still shaking with adrenalin (or maybe this is what the DT's feels like? So long since I've done Big Drinking) I'm going to start on the kitchen. Thanks for the list Lil_me.
I hope everybody is well and has a useful Bank Holiday Monday. catch you later when I've calmed down a bit!One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400
