    Hi Ladies,

Hope all are well? Hope you are better today Nutella, I'm a fainter as well, fainted more times than I can remember, usually when I get to hot and haven't eaten much, take care of yourself!

Sammie - glad Noah had a lovely party, try and post some pics please!

Had some lovely news this morning and some very sad news within 10 minutes of each other. My lovely friend had a little girl last night (Chloe), she was 11 days over. She didn't know the sex but I know her preference was a little girl as she already has 2 little boys and this will be her last, so lovely that her 2 little boys have a baby sister.

Sad news at work today, 2 of my colleagues who are married have had a late miscarriage at 18 weeks. So upset for them, had a little cry in my office, they were so happy and he was showing everyone the 12 week scan picture. :( I know it can happen but they really thought they were 'safe' after the 12 week scan. Truly gutted for them. :(

We use Asda nappies here as well with no complaints at all. We use the new arrivals range as we are still in size 3's and we've never had any leaks or problems, same can't be said about Pampers and Huggies though!

That's awful jannine :( someone in my OHs office had the same last autumn. I can't imagine it. :(

    Congrats to your friend though!

I just went to the supermarket and came home with a Victoria sponge filled muffin. Oh. My. God. It was about as big as my head and its all gone.

G isn't all that bothered about tv yet either, I put Bob the Builder on in the afternoons and he's starting to recognise the song and bop along to it but he loses interest in the story. I end up sat there shushing him so I can see the end!

Just typical that its a nice day when I've had to cancel my friend coming over and going out for tea and cake - want to keep this bundle of germs tucked up in the warm really.

OH taught him to dunk his own crackers in houmous at the weekend, and now he's trying to dunk everything! So cute, even though 98% of the time he doesn't manage to get anything on his cracker, just prods it around in there looking pleased with himself :)

:rotfl: soon will come the day you'll have seen every episode of every show :rotfl:

Try watching Ben and holly's little kingdom, made by the same people as peppa pig but without the brattiness and with more 'grown up' jokes. It's brilliant, I've been known to sit and watch it on my own :o:o

Glad its not just me and my hubby! We sat and watched Handy Manny the other night and Poppy had been in bed for an hour! After it finished I said 'why on earth are we watching this?!!' :rotfl:

Gosh I'm a mean mummy, we don't do tv here!! I often put the radio on or my iPod on so there's music. But tv gets put on to watch a specific programme then turned off when it has finished. Come the weekend, either OH, SS or both are permanently glued to something on the screen, so I figure Reuben has his week's worth of viewing in those 2 days.

I'm sure the time will come when I will happily put peppa pig on for the 476th time just so I can go pee in peace, but for now it makes me feel a little sick when I catch him stating slack jawed at the screen of whatever is on there, so I minimise it where I can!

Poor little guy has caught OH's cold (me too), he's very clingy and asked for milk at 10am today - day time milk is usually 1-2pm or not at all - so he mist be feeling poorly if he wants extra booby time instead of terrorising the living room!

I've had a productive day so far, 1 load of washing, dishwasher is on it's third load, eBay parcels packaged up ready to go, and done some paperwork too. now going to finish the Hoover repair I began some time ago (oops) and then Hoover all of downstairs, not bad for before lunch!! Then I think lunch and we will play for a bit, then pop him in the pushchair at nap time, walk to the post office to send the eBay parcels, and drop off his application form for nursery (gulp!) and grab some milk.

Oh, I've got some BM in the freezer that is hitting the 6 month mark so it's gotta be used or dumped - I can't bear to throw it away, so I've defrosted a bag and will use it for cooking. I gave it to Reu on his cereal this morning, he chewed with a puzzled look on his face, then gave me a big grin and wolfed the lot down!! Feel bad now, wish I'd been giving him it more often! Going to try some in his cup later, see what he thinks of that :)

I'm sorry to hear that - it is much more of a shock when it happens later on because as you say, once you get beyond a certain point you do think you are "safe". If you haven't already, I do recommend sending them a card or note or something - I really appreciated the people who did that as it made it feel like they cared and my baby was acknowledged rather than just ignored as if she didn't count.

I've been using mine to make porridge and then freezing that to get a longer lifespan out of it. Am also thinking of donating through human milk for human babies although I keep worrying that something might happen to me and then it would be needed for my LO. :o

Jannine - that's so sad, can't imagine (and wouldn't want to) what they are going through. :(
Oh and I will post some pics tomorrow evening as I'm sure I will take loads more!!

I have been to pick up the helium balloons today and bought DP a cake (his birthday tomorrow too!) I have to pic Noah's cake up in the morning after the school run as I cheated and got one made!! :p
Can't believe my baby will be 1 tomorrow. :o

    Xx

Is that the daughter leaving it too late to get pregnant thread? If so, I hope I've not been rude to the OP but she IS in the wrong :D
