    Evening all :)

Happy half birthday Theo and happy 9 months Reuben!

Good day here - LO had fun at nursery (they made little buses from cardboard whilst singing 'The wheels on the bus go round and round' - very cute!) and I had a productive day at work.

Morocha, that's fab re. feeding :D

Cake4brains, hope Amelia is a happier girl tomorrow.

Peanut, did you have your bath? I haven't had a bath (although rest assured I've had a daily shower :p) since LO was born - I miss my long lazy pregnancy baths! Although I don't miss struggling to get back out of the bath

Jannine, hope Poppy's, uhm, tummy situation, improves very soon.

Hope everyone else is well x

I've realised with feeding now its whatever makes you happy. I would have loved to BF but we struggled so much and it made me a terribly upset mum. Then I got mastitis and just couldn't cope.

Since swapping to FF I feel like I'm actually a good mum as its what is best for us :)

Nutella, I did and it was crap! Forgot the water tank doesn't heat up till 4 and I'd drained it of hot water doing the dishes! So I had a warm bath but not warm enough!!! Gutted.

Peanut, that's so very true re. feeding, I too had problems with bf and for a while felt incredibly guilty about switching to formula, but it was the right thing to do for us.

Boo to bath - but you do realise what that means though? More dog walking to let you have another one - and properly hot next time! :D

Sorry :o I joined MSE in the first trimester of my pregnancy and it was my top craving - I spent so much time thinking about it, eating it and/or wishing I had some that it was an obvious name to pick :)

Mum and dad love taking him which is handy as its no extra work (they drive past my house to take the dogs every day). Hopefully they'll take him a bit more :)

Looking forward to tomorrow. Need to run a few errands but off to baby group where I'm meeting a friend from antenatal for the first time since she had her little girl :) can't wait to catch up and meet her little girl :)
  • I am so sorry I haven't read back properly but get well all sick little people and glad things have perked up morocha :T

I have read that frozen breastmilk loses all its nutritional value so not worth freezing it (in terms of benefit to baby( over giving formula - is this true?

We are on a night time bottle at the moment and she is sleeping much better - not sure if it is a coincidence?!

Anyway desperately need a bath, ran it at 7pm - will it still be warm?! :o:rotfl:

I don't think that's true moneypenny, I imagine if it was nuked in the microwave or something then it would lose some nutritional value, but the make up of formula and bm are so different that it's difficult to compare the 2, frozen or not.

I could be wrong though :o
