Thanks BWP - I've spoke to the course leader who has said that if I feel up for it then missing a few classes wouldn't be a major problem, particularly as it's right at the beginning.

My current thinking is that it's never going to be easy going to college with a LO and will be even more difficult if I'm working full time.

claire. i have a 5 week old baby and had a wonderful birth and eay recovery, almot like never given birth tho (she was planned) i developed post natal depression and just now after a month of taking pills i feel able to cope, my baby aswell cried most of the time and i was spending my day and night feeding constanly and sleeping very little, it was torture, still feel rubbish some days. 4 days ago i had enough and couldnt cope and introduce formula. .
i started an open university course in october and im so glad is long distance cos since weeks before giving birth i could not concetrate, iam now month behind , havent touch any books since baby was born and just now tho im tired and go to sleep at least at 9-10, thinking of starting slowly. young babies are ver demanding.

You can't go wrong with coffee and biscuits. ;)
Just wait until she is crawling, she will be exploring the room. :D
I'm sure I've said this before but Maisie was the name we chose for a girl. I love it. Our baby obviously came out with a dangly bit between his legs though (again!!) :D

The icecream van appeared outside our house today for the first time this year - spring is officially here! Lovely day here - sunny and mild. Went to the park with LO in my lunch break (Tuesday's my working from home day); there's a really nice playground there and she went on the swings - I can see us spending many a Tuesday lunchtime there in the coming months :D

She managed to rip a £10 note in two today - I've taped it back together and hope no one will notice when I try to spend it :o
