why would they waste their time? Must have not a lot of work on.

Because of equal opportunities they are 'showing' they are giving the 'same' opportunity to outside applicants
All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

They do not have to give the same anything to anyone!

They do if they have an equal opportunity policy.

It isn't a foregone conclusion that the internal person will get the job. I have had at least 2 jobs where they were applied for internally and I beat the internal candidate. Additionally managers will often interview outsiders as they may have seen something on a CV or application form that might fit for another role, and may want to sound that person out. OP you come across as very negative, hopefully this is not coming out in your interviewing.

I wish you luck with these interviews.

Sure you are quite right not disputing that. But generally it happens. Ive been given a job this way sat in a interview room with others knowing that they aren't going to get the job. Also seen it where a female employee left her job to a sideways move and did not like it so reapplied for her old job back when it was advertised. It was a foregone conclusion she was going to get her old job back even though there was and had to be a interview process.

I did say law you are quite right. I wasn't sure if this was a law of the land or law if you had a policy.

I have seen 3 buses with the same number arrive all at the same time :)

I told you that line was meant as a joke but I am really not holding my breath on any. 1 hr and 50 mins interview means nothing.

You have to think positive. If you don't get this job try again. What are you looking for btw?

Had 4 interviews before this one and not got them so I do not see this all being any different just a fluke so many direct jobs with these employers all came up in the same week and the interviews seem to be running that way too.
