I tried it tonight. I've uploaded my receipt, but no credit is showing. Does anyone know how to make it work or how long it should take for the money to show?

I used it for the first time today and it took a few hours for them to approve my receipts. I prefer it to Shopitize already.

Has anyone tried the CheckoutSmart app?Apparently it's offering free cake and bread.
ASDA and buy a Double Chocolate Loaf Cake (50p) and any 400g loaf of Kingsmill (50p).
Snap a picture of your receipt and submit it via the app the minimum payout is £1 which you'll have made when you buy the cake & bread.

it's very, very similar to Quidco click snap :) with similar offers

Same here, uploaded a receipt last night, still no credit. It said they'll email when the money's been credited though. Does seem a bit long - guess it's similar waiting times to Quidco.
Well my receipt's been approved. :TSo average waiting time really, not instant like Shopitize (when it works, lol) and not quite as long as Quidco. About the same as TCB in my experience. So far so good
  • Typically, no chocolate cake in my Asda tonight :(

  • is checkout smart part of Quidco as they seem to almost have the same offers and also the same address.

I think so as it won't allow me to claim offers from COS if I've already redeemed them at Quidco :(
  • I think I'll give this shopping app a miss as I have all manner of photos, from all areas of my life stored on my ipad. All my other shopping apps manage to work without accessing my photos, or being unnecessarily intrusive. This just seems sinister and underhand. And yes, Checkoutsmart are linked to Quidco, as well as Valassis. A quick google reveals this to be the case.

I agree, not too happy with this although Quidco also want access to your pictures. I've added a receipt to both Quidco and Checkoutsmart and neither have been acknowledged. :/

As far as I know yes I bought jammy dodgers yesterday in Waitrose there was an order in store for two packets £1.50 and I got my 50p back when I scanned one pack and uploaded the receipt.
Its if there's been an in store reduction like short dated stuff I know quidco won't do cash back on that as they mistakenly mixed up an in store offer price with a reduction price and kept refusing legitimate Cash-back until they finally realised after many complaints.
