Have had AVG for a couple of years now and never had this problem but suddenly yesterday it can't update. I have checked my zone alarm ssettings and they are set to allow. Is anyone else having or had this problem? it only started yesterday out of the blue
Thanx

i have had this problem for a couple of weeks, before i fixed it by going to the control center > click on the update manager > settings box > go the the advanced tab and click on the box that says 'delete temporary update files'.0

Try the avg update again.
I'm using AVG, so I'll be interested to see how this pans outBehind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -

here is the latest update. click on the link, and download the file (into a folder, you will see why in the min). right click on the avg icon by the clock and when it asks you for the update source, click folder. navigate to the folder with the update file in, and click it, then click ok. it should then start the update process
Edit: the link wont work. the update file is in the top right corner under latest update0 -
Thanx it did let me update it but I tried again afterwards to do it through internet and it still says cant connect where as before if it was up to date it would tell me I was up to date plus my automatic update isnt working still, it was yesterday though in the morning. Do you think it could have anything to do with Utorrent? I had that on a bit yesterdayThanx
