I'm totally confused here. Do toggle offer micro sims or nano sims or not? Am lost by this thread. My other question is what does it matter about t mobile list of chargeable numbers? If your with toggle..isn't this as simple as they send you a sim card..you use it? Sorry i'm not the most technical with technology..I'm just trying to work out if this tariff/sim is worth it here!0

If it's in the list (or they just dislike the number) it will cost other people on T-mobile (and maybe on some other networks?) to call you.blackguy52 wrote: »...My other question is what does it matter about t mobile list of chargeable numbers? I understood that T-Mobile's reason for surcharging for calls to Lycamobile numbers is not so much about Lycamobile's higher termination rate but about Lycamobile having taken a huge block of numbers with them when they moved from T-Mobile to Vodafone a few years ago. Is there any truth in this?0

Oh I see! Aah very crafty of toggle..can anyone confirm if they actually ordered one of these and it works and stuff? as i'm interested in the internet data package0

After being sent a full size sim (after ordering a nano sim) i contacted them and they sent me out a cut down nano sim which seemed to work ok in my phone,:beer:0

I would caution against inserting a cut-down nano-SIM into an iPhone 5. A genuine nano-SIM is 0.67mm thick but a cut-down SIM is 13% thicker at 0.76mm, so you have to force it into an iPhone 5. There are reports of cut-down SIMs getting stuck in the iPhone 5, which invalidates the warranty. Toggle need to supply proper nano-SIMs; cutting them by hand is not sufficient. After being sent a full size sim (after ordering a nano sim) i contacted them and they sent me out a cut down nano sim which seemed to work ok in my phone,0 -
I;m worried by the number of reports of them sending out full sims and cutting them down..are micro sims safe?0
-
Yes, micro-SIMs should be fine because 2FF mini-SIMs and 3FF micro-SIMs are both 0.76mm thick, so they can be cut in two dimensions. The only risk is fragments of metal causing a short circuit.blackguy52 wrote: »I;m worried by the number of reports of them sending out full sims and cutting them down..are micro sims safe?0 -
