"mansion" in the !!!!!! of lurgan for 500k. That's pretty expensive.
It always was a bugly ugger, even when it was intact. Good site though, but with not enough land.
But what centre of style, sophistication and smartness do you inhabit that qualifies you to sneer? Mayfair, Park Lane? Or Old Kent Road?“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

Yes, its a big site.
It would be a shame if it were demolished. Might have some sort of listed status? It was built some time in the 19th century0 -

Remarkable how it deteriorated so much so quickly.
Looking at the company house info related to the house. Was it owned by a property developer type?0 -
In excess of 2240 pounds. Cryptic enough? Probably not“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0

Here is the link to the latest report which shows changes over the 2015 calendar year.
It's now 2 years since this thread started and the index has gone from 87 to 106 - an increase of over 20%.
With respect to volumes, obviously 2007 volumes of about 30,000 was above what could be expected to be a sustainable figure - in a similar manner to how 2010 volumes of a bit over 10,000 was well below what we would expect as a long-term average.
The 2014/2015 figure of about 20,000 is what I'd expect over the next couple of years - slowly increasing over time as opposed to swinging wildly as we've seen in recent years.
I do expect continuing price rises in the region of 5-7% because, based on my view of the market, we are lacking a reasonable supply of good properties and it's significantly outstripped by demand.0 -

Its still for sale if you're feeling flush!
I see the sign says 19.5 acres with it0 -

It's not very appealing in its present state. Who wants a rundown mansion with a swimming pool? Give it a few years to fall into total ruin and it could be a great site for a 2000 sq ft house.
Yes, I did jump the gate there for a sniff around one Sunday.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

No, hence why, presumably, its still for sale.
The phrase "money pit" springs to mind.
Would cost a fortune to bring it back to what it should be.0 -
Imagine how much interest there would be in it if it were to tragically burn to the ground.
Oh no, I've said the wrong thing. They'll delete this.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0
