I know - if it wasn't done with so much friendliness and practicality it would get annoying ;):D

I am well, good lady :D . How are you?

I have my training route planned! Down to the Tower, across Tower Bridge and back up the other side and across London Bridge. Reckon its about a mile and a half, so if I don't post after Monday, that's where to send the paramedics :rotfl:

melbury - when I have a bit more time I will explain to you why AC is right. JoeHel has pretty much covered it ( ), but I'll add my two pennorth at some stage. Meantime, think about which part of smoking you 'enjoyed'. Taste? Smell? or wass it just that it scratched the itch?

By the way - and this is meant to give you encouragement rather than anidle boast. My anniversary today, too. I now have not smoked for a whole 18 months :j :j . I was a confirmed smoker, so if I can do it, I know for a FACT that you all can too

    Have a great Friday
    Lurky

:DNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh :D
  • Morning all, and Happy Friday!
    Day 23 for me today.
I'm amazed I've come this far, and so are the friends I bump into and tell!

Lurkio - there's some good advice on the internet about starting/restarting running. I've got a 6 week plan that I printed out yesterday (and now can't find...) that gradually builds up to running 5k.

Basilcat - well done on 1 month. What a great feeling, I bet you're soooooo pleased that you didn't cave in the other night.

Well done to everyone else who's done a whole month too.

Come on Skintnow - tell us about some of these dreams....

Thanks for the tip, Boatie. If it is the 'couch to 5k running plan' I have found it and printed it!

And extremely well done getting to day 23!! :T :T

Hi everyone! Firstly just a massive well done to everyone here, its such a hard thing to do, and you're all so friendly and encouraging to each other. I've been "lurking" for a week now, been on the Champix for nearly 3 weeks and am 5 days smoke free!! Woo me! I have though had a chest and throat infection which meant I would have smoked less anyway, but 've still been craving! (How bad is that??) Now I'm on the mend, and dreading the weekend! Am on antibiotics so can't drink, so that should lessen the temptation but still.... Sucking sweets, polos and munching biscuits just doesn't hit the spot!
