OK, well rescued! The nice people at Vision Express are very helpful - they always choose my frames for me, and I've always been happy!

Morning:wave:
I'm always a bit suspicious of the staff selecting something for me. I always think that they are going to pick the stuff they can't shift, or what they get most commission on.....
Me? Cynical? :A :A
Boatie - I had to stop myself shouting when I read through - wish I could have been around
Big hand to yellowmonkey, though. Top job, fella :T :T :T :TNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

Seriously well done Basilcat - that was a fantastic thing you did (or rather didn't do

Lurkio, if you're looking for fantastic, cheap glasses then I can recommend optical4less.com
I discovered them from a tip on this site and I've had several pairs of specs from them and been happy with them all.
As an example I got a really nice rimless pair for £39, they looked and felt the same as my previous pair from UK high street optician which ad cost me £350 :eek:0 -

).
Well done for fighting the urge and not giving in, I'm really proud of you :T
Fantastic advice from Mr BE about having a glass of wine - It's a trick I used myself in the early days of quitting.
I still haven't got round to buying some running shoes, but it's at the top of my list of things to do.
Thanks Boatie... and hello :happyhear feel quite saintly today :A

You're on! I'm planning on getting the shoes (and a sports bra!) this weekend and going for a run (jog? walk? stagger?) on Monday lunchtime.
My aim is to do the sport relief mile in March (it's on my birthday actually!).0
