Found a receipt from last Saturday I'd not recorded - so that added another £2.08 added onto my spends
Then another weekly grocery shop today, which added a further £24.04 to my total
Now at a spend of £58.17 from a budget of £211.50
But part of today's spend was a funny one. I'm taking part in a survey on some groceries, so had to purchase a specific item (which cost me £5) for which I'll get a £10 Mr T giftcard to cover the cost..... so once that arrives I'll be able to deduct £10 from my spendsCheryl0 -

Def MSE - 59 pence is 59 pence and better with you than a SM, and there was also the bonus of the extra exercise!
I was so busy checking my receipt was correct while on the way out of Sains yesterday I pushed the trolley into one of the support pillars. I just carried on as though nothing had happened0 -
I've just done my weekly shop and I've got enough food for all meals until this time next week.
I had a £7 off £70 so I did plan to go over my usual £60 budget. I bought washing powder and cleaning products to make it up, I don't need them now but they'll last.
I had some vouchers and coupons so I actually only spent £27.34, not bad considering it should've been over £71!0 -
Just popped on to update my signature. Up to £84.21 so far so hoping I can keep within budget for the rest of the month. I am quite stocked up now so should not need to get any shopping for s little while.0

Total comfort shopping except the flowers for ma's day (not counted in budget) so grrr...
Poor you and poor cat, hope s/he is OK. A little comfort doesn't hurt in times of worry.
Best wishes

Just popping in to report a kind of spend today! Went into town with Mother, wasn't planning on lunch, but she insisted on treating me!! So we'd picked what we were having then she bumped into a friend, got chatting, which meant I ordered and paid!! (£10.20)
However, I then took her for her weekly shop, she doesn't drive so me & Sis take week about. I almost stuck to my list of 4 things (bread, milk, eggs & frozen prawns) Sneaked in 2 x Chilli Philli for £2 & 2 x Ainsley's cous cous for £1 from Sainsbugs. And the shopping came to the same amount, Mum paid, so it's all about the same.
Having to be extremely frugal this month, so having some inventive dinners!!
Off to read the recipe thread for some inspiration!!
:beer:My name is CherryPie and I'm addicted to grocery shopping!!

My cupcakes went down really well today - not a one left! A very happy international woman's day
Ended up with veg hot dog and HM wedges this evening as am just exhausted and hadn't the energy for anything else. Baked a loaf in the BM as well - will keep us in sambos as we're out and about at the weekend.0
