Bedroom Tax and kids living away??

Clearly anyone who has ever had a child or been married should automatically be given a three or four bedroom house by the council. This does appear to be a genuine belief of many idiots out there! Four to six subsidised houses for every two couples.0

gordon brown and tony vlair are the masters of the situation we are in now ( and om definately not a tory!)
employers have systematically lowered wages as the tax credit system made up the defecit.
never before were such a large number of working families entitled to benefits. and the only cuase can be that the wages were so low.
but now everyone on benefit of any kind, for whatever reason, is being hit.
and all because brown and blair wanted to buy votes!
The number of people who only work part time is one of the maiin reasons for the increase in tax credits.0 -

It's both the employers AND the workers who take advantage who are to blame. Housing costs do not help either.0 -

so its the employers and workers to blame?
and whoever made the rules for tax credits that enabled the situation....

Really - disabled only? Even if you believe that -then you open up a wide argument. Disabled WTC, disability credits that parents claim etc.
Still sticking to that?0 -

I certainly don't think that a single person should be able to claim tax credits when working part time and the hours required from couples with a child are quite ridiculous!0 -

One of the worst things about having to survive long term on benefits is the lack of choice and options.
If you're disabled, it's very stressful, knowing that your future is in other people's hands because you don't have the health to go out and make changes to your life.
It's the reason why politicians and journalists who do the "live on benefits for a week" don't get a real feel for what it's like. They still have the option to go back to their good life at the end of the week.0 -
