I failed this week. I was OK on Monday, tuesday and Wednesday but had a chinese takeaway last night and went to the cafe for breakfast this morning.

I will try to be better next week if I do't get chucked out of the challenge :o

I'm not sure we're allowed to use the F-word on this thread....and you definitely won't get chucked out ;). Go on, give us the red update and see how much you've gone over - it might help deciding next week's budget :)

    I'm declaring a green week - woo hoo :j:j £3.35 / £5

I'll be back later when I've worked out next week's budget....which sadly will be more than this week's £5 x

You definitely won't be chucked out. Check out my signature, I was red for the last two weeks. :D and I'm still here.

This challenge isn't here to judge anyone or decide who can and can't be in the challenge, it's about looking at how we spend our money, and looking at how we can minimise the random, unnecessary spends that we all make.

It's also about setting realistic budgets, but you've got to have a life too.

Anyway I did actually finally finish this week green.

    £14.64/ £15

I am going back to setting all my weekly budgets on here so I am not tempted to cheat.

I did only spend £54.64 out of my budgeted £55 but it is tempting to top up one budget from another, and I don't want to do that. I am also going to try and set a monthly budget for petrol, groceries and weekly spends once I get paid. And need to stick to it, as only have 7 weeks left at work so i still need to save as much as poss.
