  • Hi Eto
I am a bit slow and it takes me a while to find threads and use the site.
Sorry I missed it yesterday but can you put me in for this week's challenge please?
I have £20 to use all week and want to spend no more than that. i.e. I hope not to have to borrow from the bank of Mum and Dad!
Thank you very much for your help. :-)

Thank you for adding me :D

I have made tomorrow's lunch to take to work with me. I will need to buy some diet coke and a packet of M&S cheese tasters, but that should be less than £1.50.

Can't make it to SW tomorrow night so that will save me £4.95 :D

    Have a good week everyone

ETO, thanks for starting the thread again. I updated on last week's thread earlier to declare £48.16 / £50

Pleased to have had a green week - only just but they all count....and £1.84 balance into my wee random virtual pot :)

No big spends planned this week, birthdays, girl's weekends etc all done for the month. I need to go and get shopping today....that comes from another budget though. So this week, I'm going to pledge

    £5

Already spent £1.75 yesterday for DD's "best chippy chips in Scotland" so only £3.25 to do me until Friday

Im having a terrible week already and i have another 4 days and my son's birthday and birthday night out in this time!! Not going to happen i don't think!

Sat it most of today bored stiff, did pop to the travel agents earlier for a bit of holiday browsing, but this only depresses me more haha I take after my father in that though, he always had a holiday brochure at home when i was a child!

    NEED TO BE GOOD!! lol

Hope you all have a good day x

  • Argh! Start rant.

I need a new windscreen after a stone chipped it. Phoned up insurer and the size and placement of it means I have to get the whole thing replaced. Excess is £85 for this, if chip had been repairable then it's only £20. Sigh.

I feel like I'm never going to have savings. As soon as they start to build up, this kind of stuff happens! Although, silver lining is I do have the money put aside for this kind of stuff.

No random crap spending though :)
