Heya!
Beth - hope your Grandma gets well soon... Hugs!
Am determined not to go red this week... Am in budget... just!
£11.56/£11.66
Am in college all day tomorrow and taking a packed lunch, and Friday in work all day so there should be no needless spending!!!
One thing that is helping is I started a food plan (Eat, Fast and Live Longer) where for 2 days of the week I eat only 500 calories. On those days there is no motivation to spend as I live on home made soups/stews... so, I'm saving money but also losing weight. It's all good!

My 86 yr old Grandma has become really poorly and im so tempted to drive the £70 worth of petrol drive and 8 hours worth of driving to see her as i feel it may be my last chance. Why do these big chunk of money things happen when you have just used all your spare cash into getting rid of 1 debt! Wishing now i hadn't bothered paying Next off early
Hope you all have a good day. x
Ah I'm really sorry to hear your Grandma's not well. Don't beat yourself up about paying a debt off, you weren't to know your situation would change. Hope you get to see her soon.
Take care.

Hi all
Well bit of a disastrous day today on the spends front, well I wasn't going to spend the money from not going out for tea last night... Well I sort of have... Oooops.
Needed some fruit for work, so knew I'd spend a little, well that was £1.78,but because I knew I wouldn't like the dessert at work I treated myself to a creme egg. 60p flipping eck, picked it up but hadn't checked the price. so that was £2.38 before work.
Had to get dry bunny food this evening so that was another £4.99
Then on way home needed bread for tea, however....
£3.93 later, and brioche, cake and custard...
I'm Skint.
£11.30 spent today. Bugga. And was actually planning on changing my budget to £15.SPC 14 Target £200 /

I hope that you do make it to see your gran Beth and that she's feeling better soon.
I was naughty today - don't worry I'm still within limits! - but I spent £1 on chocolate.
However the person that I bought the velcro from refunded me £2.29 which I'm assuming is against the postage so that's good!

Weekly Spend Challenge - £400 -
Spent £1.60 on a coffee this evening while waiting for DD do her rehearsals - I thought investing the £1.60 would be more MSE than driving the 15 miles home then back again to pick her up
Also had to buy a single onion (DD stopped me from buying more things at Mr T - she's getting the bug too!) but that 15p comes out of grocery budget so not counting it here
Still on target with £3.35 / £5
May be a bit ambitious to spend less than £1.65 before Saturday....watch this space :ASPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0 -
