Aerial Direct telephoned me yesterday and duped me into believing they were O2 and then said they worked with O2. Thinking I was renewing with o2 I agreed to renew my contract. I was told as it as a renewal there was no cooling off period and no paperwork. I telephoned o2 once the phone call had finished and they said that Aerial Systems are a working partner and can sign people up. I decided to leave both and find another supplier. I wrote to Aerial Systems saying all options were cancelled but they wrote back this morning saying that I had to use them as they are the "Centre of excellence for O2" and that they had a transcript of the telephone call where they said they were not calling from O2. I told them that my solicitor wants a copy of that transcript. I contacted O2 and said I was not happy with the way o2 had treated me after so many years. It ended up with O2 offering me a deal £10 cheaper than the Aeriel Systems one which I accepted and will be receiving a copy in writing and I am still a 100% o2 customer. o2 pays commission to Aerial Systems apparently. I am surprised that a bona fide company like o2 uses cowboys like this, I understand that Vodaphone and several others use them also. I am an o2 business customer, I find that more and more large companies, whom I would have trusted in the past, have lost their ethics.0

I have been ripped off as well. I was pushed into renewing with these rogues and then waited for an I-Phone 5C to arrive. They sent it to an old address when I had changed it with them over the phone during the renewal. When it didn't arrive I contacted them and they apologised but when I said I wanted to cancel they said I couldn't. I contacted O2 who were sorry for my situation but said it was for me to sort out with Aerial. When I tried all I got was you need to speak with the escalations manager who was never available. I still don't have a phone as I told them to cancel the contract as it's breached. Contacted O2 Consumer Forum who looked into it and then told me I had agreed to the contract, missed out on the cooling off period, taken out a broadband dongle for £7.50...!!!!!! I never agreed to that, started my contract 4 months early so that's why it's for 28 months and that it was basically tough !!!!! When I originally signed up with these thieves I never knew it was a business account and still is...it took over 4 years to find that out and that was through O2!!! O2 have denied any wrongdoing, Aerial won't deal with me so I want to report this to the BBC Watchdog, Don't get Done get Dom, Offcom, Trading Standards and anybody else who may look into the actions of this company. They disgust me with their tactics. I had to cut the renewal call short cos I was at work but apparently I had already signed up again. Asked for a contract to be sent electronic or hard copy, transcript or copy of the call but nothing. I put it on their twitter and Facebook about my 'issue' and they started calling me when I was at work and asked for a note to be put on my account to say no calls before 5pm as I can't answer at work and they still call me during the day!!! The I-Phone 5C at £36.99 a month was a rip-off and so much for already being a customer. Help!0
