NO they don't,they've just deducted £5 'administration' from my EON £70 transfer cashback balance BEFORE they've paid it !!
I suppose this is 'normal' practice ?
Yes, they do, they gave it to your account in full then charged you the fee they said they would for annual membership. Next time you get the full amount earned if you earn any more cashback from other transactions, provided you complete the transaciton, get credited and withdraw all inside the same 12 months that you got charged £5.
Yes it is normal for sites like this. Read the Terms next time you join something.
I do not like the deductions either, but then how are they going to be able to pay Host fees, and costs of equipment needed to run the site, if they earn nothing from any source.
One alternative is for them not to give 100% of your earnings but take a percentage off and not tell you how much they pass on. That way you lose out on purchases that earn hundreds of pounds, if they take say 10% off, I would rather pay £5 than 10% of £300 cashback I earned.
The other alternative favoured by some dodgy websites hiding behind the old "Iron Curtain" is to stay up for as long as possible while fobbing off people with various excuses why they have not paid, then suddenly vanish with all the cashback unpaid. Usually more prevalent with PTR (paid to read email) sites.
The final alternative is to go belly up due to inability to earn enough revenue so you get nothing at all in the end, and all that time and money spent for nothing when you could have been on a site that is stable, well run, honest and up front, and pays on time.
Only TopCash and some others do not take any annual fee, if you read the article from Martin on cashback sites.
On my own website page there are 23 cashback sites listed that do not take any fee, but many of them do not give you all the money they earn from the merchant, that is why they have no fee.
I do not think I am allowed to put in my URL, but I will anyway.

I joined SmartSpend from a link on the ubiquitous The HighStreet Web, favourite of all us cheapskate daily clickers, who want to earn enough to reach payout without spending a penny.
Noble aspirations indeed, don't knock it if you have "loadsamoney", in this credit crunch climate you may be joining us soon!
Any road up.
Search for SmartSpend and the only entry I can find here are 4 posts, one of which says it is a white label Greasy Palm site.
I can confirm this, as when I log in with my Greasy Palm login, instead of the other SmartSpend login, I get my Greasy Palm earning and account details with SmartSpend template headings on the site.
This leads me to ask Martin (was the email reply I had saying thanks for my ideas from Martin or a researcher working for him?) to consider having someone look into this specific site, and consider also, where do we draw the line if hundreds of white lable versions of the same basic sites are created?
It seems that Kelkoo are now running their own cashback site (non sequiter).
At the moment they seem a bit confused about whether or not it is January or February (in that they gave me £3 for joining before 31 January, when I joined just yesterday).
A sign that this is a new and rushed addition to the KelKoo organisation.
Can the ghost writer consider this in the updated cashback article?
And (can't start with And...) can I communicate with whoever is writng the article update so I can suggest more ideas.0 -
Hello there
I was looking at using a Paypal 10% off online voucher at Goldsmith's and then combine this with the quidco 16% cashback.
Does anyone know if this works with this retailer?
Thanks very much!0 -
Hi, I'm a member of ipoints and Mutualpoints and another member of my family wishes to join. They would have their own email address but the same house address, they would also be sharing my computer. Is it allowable? I've contacted Mutualpoints but the reply I received didn't really answer my query! .0

Sites that you mention are 50% and up to 25% Cashback Sites respectively, not worth any mentions in updated cashback article IMO due to 100% sites being better consumer value.0 -
