I'm sorry to have to keep coming back and saying bad stuff about sites, I wouldmt if I didnt have to but cashbackking.co.uk is another one to avoid. It is connected to ecashrewards that closed recently. Search any of these sites including ukrewards and mrmoneyback on here and you will find other complaints. Gawd I hope you get your £80 back

Edit: As far as I can see it seems to be back up at the moment but really if I were you I'd get your money asap from that site before it goes the same way as ecashrewards.

Just to warn you you will have to removed that referral link from your post because its against forum rules, you can only post referrals in the referral thread, sorry.
Lady K - Apologies, are you able to shift posting around and stuff? Like you are the moderator on this thread? - Cool, and keep up the good work.0 -
Is there anything at all that can be done about these "dodgy" cashback sites? I personally have lost out on cashback on all of the sites mentioned on here as ones to avoid. I am certainly not alone in this. Surely there must be some kind of regulations that cashback sites have to adhere to? I would certainly love to know how so many sites are allowed to operate with no intention whatsoever of ever paying up.0

Back at the beginning of March I used TOP CASHBACK to buy car insurance from SWINTON with a promised cashback of £55.00. After well over a month & sening a missing commision claim plus 5 nudges, NOTHING... Anybody else had the same trouble ?? :mad:0

Ritamae i have to say i am completely suprised by your problems with Topcashback. I am a member of 30 odd cashback sites i would guess & i have to say Topcashback is by far my favourite. I have never had the slightest problem with them & i do all my purchases through them, including car insurane & house insurance. Apparently the tracking percentage with Swinton Insurance is only 70% so this might explain your problem. Dont give up though, keep emailing with as much detail as you can give & i am sure this can be resolved.0

I think you'll have to wait a bit longer and I hope you get it paid, seeing as it's so easy for them to worm their way out of paying.0 -
I must say it is very unusual to hear bad things about Topcashback. I trust them above any other site. I have just done my home insurance with Norwich Union through Topcashback. My transaction was reported on my account within 2 hours! I got a very good quote from Norwich Union plus £70 cashback from TCB. I really feel for those who have trouble with their transations. When things an be as smooth as i found them it seems really unfair for those not so lucky.0

Hi,
I am signed up with Quidco, TopCashBack & CashBackKings.
I entered details for Esure car insurance direct with the company (ie: not through any of the CashBack sites) & it came up with a total of £329.18. I then entered the EXACT same details through Quidco, & the total was £359.57, over £30 more!!!! I then entered the exact same details through the CashBackKings & TopCashBack sites & they both came up with £352.95 - over £23 more than direct to Esure!
Yes, I realise that I would be entitled to £45 cashback via each of these cashback sites, but WHY the price difference in the first place? Are these cashback companies hiking the price on their priviledged entry portals to Esure? or is Esure hiking the price up for allowing us the 'priviledge' of going through these cashback sites?
So really, it seems that although you get £45 cashback via the cashback sites, by the time the difference is taken into consideration, you only get the equivilent of £15 saving on the total price!!!
How many other sites are doing a similar thing?
Also, another thing I noticed was that at the Voluntary excess pulldown, there are less amounts to choose from via the cashback sites than by going direct.
WHY?????????
Anyone got an answer to this? :huh:0 -
I'm looking at joining the wepromiseto cashback site for renewing my car insurance but although the advice on the MSE website seems to suggest that you can join any number of cashback websites, when I read the terms and conditions for wepromiseto it seems to say that your transactions won't be eligible for cashback if you belong to more than one cashback site - am I interpreting it wrongly? Any help greatly appreciated0

I am a member of over 20 cashback sites & have done transactions on a few of them. I tend to use Topcashback now for all my purchasing as it is the one i trust the most & also offers the best cashback rates.Every purchase i have made so far has been tracked & cashback paid in due course.I have no dealings with wepromiseto so i can't vouch for how trustworthy they are.All i do know is that i have made purchases on a couple of sites who have apparently folded & lost out on my earnings as they haven't paid up.My only word of advice is use a site you trust, then you have the best chance of getting your cashback.0

Does anyone use firefox for cashback daily clicks? I've been using opera and have found it does not track shopping.com or dealtime at all and strangely only 2 high street webs a day on whatever site I choose but only 2. Yet if I use IE7 it tracks ok. Its just I prefer a separate browser for safer use of saving passwords and IE is the main browser and I don't want to save passwords on that.
I just wondered if there were any problems with firefox before I download it?
Have used Firefox for years with cashback sites - no problems!0
