  • So I bought my home and contents insurance from Norwich Union via the wepromiseto website to get a £50 cashback. That was back on 13th May - unlucky for me !

Though it clearly shows that I "clicked" via their website on this date I have never got my "promised" £50 out of them despite numerous e_mails.

They say that the transaction has not been automatically tracked and basically that means I wont be getting my money.

    What a rip off.

I'd certainly advise going eslewhere if you are hoping to see any money.

just wanted to say that i started using quidco in june after reading about it on this site and it is great

i use it for personal stuff but also book flights, trains & hotels for people at work so i also use it when booking these

so far no problems at all, and last month I received my first payment of £188, this month it's looking like £90, next month hopefully more so this is a real bonus for me (especially as it paid for my hotel in barcelona a couple of weeks ago, and i earnt more money back on that too!!)

definitely worth signing up if anyone out there is hesitating.

    thanks everyone

New kid on the block : http://www.cashback365.com/

They are an offshoot of betrescue.com which has been quite reliable for a few years with unique free bet offers (from which some of us MSEers have made a mint - see the GIOL board).

Haven't checked out their cashback site in much detail but seems they are one of the ones that retain a fair chunk of the merchant money for themselves. May be MSE Towers will have time to examine them in more detail.

As an employee of the NHS I use the NHS Cashback site, you don't have to work for the NHS to use this site and if an NHS worker invites someone to join the worker earns £5 when the new member starts shopping.
Many retailers included on site, even ebay where you can get 20% back in some cases. I've not been a member long but as soon as my cashback balance reached £30 I was automatically refunded into my back account.
Very pleased with the site so far.

hmh, wouldn't you get a better deal (i.e. more cashback) if you went via Quidco or Topcashback? Quick glance at the NHS cashback site suggests they are paying out a fraction of the cashback they receive from merchants.

Mind you, they'll probably use the cash the NHS workers make for them to ditch all the car parking fees at hospitals soon? Or may be not.

Makes my blood boil somewhat when I see people getting exploited like that.

Poster 162 is absolutely correct, :T If you are keen to get as much Cashback as possible for your transactions then I respectfully suggest that for any transaction that you consider doing, you search on Cashback Guide to see what the best rate is being offered.
