Hi, havent read all of this thread but I have had several problems with Topcashback and cashback not being paid or paid inaccurately. Two fairly small amounts £3 since April and 98p in the last month have both not been paid. Know it doesnt sound like much but its the principle of the thing really. Then recently I have applied for switching my duel fuel supply to Scottish Power who were offering £110 and I have only been offered £60 and I have to wait until the payment is confirmed before I can submit a missing or incorrect payment claim despite Topcashback admitting that I should have been paid the higher amount. With the £3 they have said today that, despite telling me that they were looking into it and I should leave it to them, they have looked into it in the last few days and the retailer says they cant find my order so are declining my payment. No wonder they cant find my order its been nearly 7 months and nothing has been done!! My experience has been its great when it works but when there are any problems they dont deal with them and its very hard to get a successful resolution.

    I ordered an iPhone 3GS 32Gb on 02 from mobiles.co.uk using Quidco.

So I am expecting to get £60 cashback.

The status of my earnings on Quidco for this transaction show:

    12 Nov 2009 22:45:00 Mobiles.co.uk 0.00 0.01 tracked* ~ Dec 2009
    16 Nov 2009 09:35:00 Mobiles.co.uk 0.00 59.99 validated ~ Dec 2009

So it has tracked and been validated.

I want to know if I can now port my old vodafone number to my iPhone "WITHOUT" loosing my cashback.

I have my PAC code from vodafone so its just the matter of ringing O2 now.

A Quidco representative has told me that once the transaction has been validated you can port your number.

I would just like to be sure that this is the case and if anyone else has done or knows anything about this.

Anybody else have a problem getting to the merchant page from Topcashback links?
I find with this and some other cashback sites that clicking on the link to the merchant just gives me a 'page not found'. Topcashback say it is settings in my browser, although I find it in IE and Firefox (tho' FF just displays a blank page).
Anyone found a way round this?

  • Hi All,

Well i've just recently found this site and have started in earnest to try and save some money to take my wife away for our second anniversary in October. One way of doing this is the cashback sites, so I have joined Topcashback, Quidco and Pigsback.
Obviously being completely new to this I am struggling a little with ways to increase the points on each site. I'm sure there are lots of tricks that you can do to boost your incoming points, so I was hoping that some of you might be able to help me get started.

    The questions I have are;

Am I using the right sites?
If I register on things to get points, will I get 100's of emails from companies a day?
If I do get lots of emails, can I unsubscribe again and still keep the cashback?
Is there a timelimit for redeeming your points/money, or can you just let it accumulate?

Sorry, probably stupid questions, but i really do know nothing!

Thanks in advance for all your help

    Regards

    Hi
I've just joined Topcashback hav ing seen the £8 Equifax deal. BUT when I filled my application on the Equifax site and put in my card details I pressed continue and it came up with: [ServletException in:/insert.ehtml] null'
Does this mean I have completed my application? I don't want to put my details in twice as that will inevitably negate my cashback.
Any ideas on what I should do?
    Thanks

I've tried repeatedly to sign up for this without success - however I simply get an error message which says I must contact them by phone - obviously no use to us as we wouldn't get our cashback.

Looking at the comments against this deal on Top Cashback im not sure you would ever see the cashback if you cancelled the trial anyway?

    Unless somebody knows different?

OK, let's wait to see if someone can tell us more :) It does worry me tho, that my card details were entered and I don't know what's happening with them.

Hi Pete, I was just able to sign up so may be worth trying now.

ksh123 I don't think you completed the sign up so shouldn't be charged - i had a similar problem and tried signing in as a member but they said they had no record of me.

However i didnt fully sign up just now because my final screen told me i had to ring up (it's only 5p a min) but i couldnt be bothered with all that, so won't get the cashback.
