(Just to clarify, I am a teacher and some bitter person thought it was a good idea to have a parents' evening today.....in case anyone assumed I was some sort of escort!)0

Made breakfast in bed and doing a romantic dinner in the garden tonight, but breakfast at least didnt work out as planned as OH is having a rough time recently (one of the dogs at his office was poisoned by some !^@*!73 yesterday and died in his arms) so was kind of a mess. I hope he can cheer up enough to enjoy dinner at least - poor thing.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000

I got my Wife flowers a couple of weeks back and I will next week as well. Today I won't be buying flowers at £5 a rose or taking her to a cheap restaurant full of 1 day a year lovers. Neither of us will buy in to the commercial cr*p. It's truly pathetic how the masses are manipulated.Pants0

My OH and I don’t live together FT and he had his kids last night, so stayed at his own place, but he came up to mine this morning and gave me a card, silver earrings and a teddy J When he had left for work I went into the hall and he had left me a bunch of 12 long stemmed red roses…..v chuffed!:T0

Boyfriend flew in late last night, he came over and we exchanged cards and gifts early this morning and then had the mother of all fights about something so stupid, I can't even remember what started it, so he's sulked back off to his brothers place and I've decided to go and get my hair cut:undecided
Happy Valentines Day :rotfl:0 -
We don't 'do' Valentines Day even though we've only been together for about 3 years. I think valentines day is for kids - its great when you're 16 but I'm too old and cynical for it all now. My partner brought me a dozen red roses about 3 weeks ago - just came home with them for no reason except to say he loves me. I think that's much more romantic than exchanging cards and gifts on a specific day because Society says you should.0
