Had one of our staff say that he's had this happen 3 times now on O2. He's in the West Midlands area.
  • Happened to me a little while ago. Am based in Bucks. Clearly it has not been sorted, as O2 claims...

Surley 02 should be sending a text (contacting) all their customers detailing the fault and telling people not to do sensitive calls like banking.

Are they not liable if someone losses funds through there glitch?

It's been falling over with "technical glitches" for the last 8 months or so. It seems they don't want to spend money on the network now when they will need to upgrade later in the year for LTE.

It'll be amazing if they manage to stagger along until then without another major outage.

Look at the bright side, unlike the last few outages, at least with this glitch calls are still able to be made, even if total strangers can listen in :rotfl:

So, not many calls in English will be overheard then..

I'm in the Midlands. Happened three times to me so far:

Once to my sis, also on o2, in Yorkshire.
Once to my friend, on 3, in the Midlands.
Once to my OH, on VF, in the Midlands.

Only lasted a couple of seconds, then cut out. A couple of the times it sounded like I was connected to two different calls, not just one. The person I was speaking to heard it each time. In one of the calls they were speaking english; definitely one Polish and one Punjabi/Hindi.

I WANT MY COMPENSATION RA RA RAH!!!
