You shouldn't apply to more than more than one of these companies at once, so I would leave it a while and see if Lionbridge get back to you. Maybe try Appen in a month if you dont hear anything. Good Luck!

Hi,

How do the hours work at LF or LB? Eg. if I want to work 10-12 hours a week, can I do 2 hours on a Monday morning at 7am and then 10 hours on a Saturday?

For international raters, the hours aren't usually that regular. It's more a case of "work it when it's there". During the better months (like this one) there's a bit more pick-and-choose though.

I've got a resit exam for the LF Yukon project and need some advise on one or two things that aren't covered in the guidelines. Can someone pm me please if they've ever worked on this project.

Am I right in thinking that LF pays by the hour and LB pays per task? In that case, does LB pay turn out to be low?

Wondering if I should be bothering applying to LF now, because of this hiring freeze...

Thanks. However, for the internet assessor job at LB, they say "Payment will be based on completion of the agreed upon tasks", so I'm confused...
