  • I have my LF exams next week - nervous and excited. Can anyone tell me how long (approx) the three exams will take?

    Thanks

You can do them in your own time so give yourself all the time you need. I took a day per exam, that included study time. You may take more time or you may take less. Good Luck!

  • Hi all, been reading this thread for a while and took the plunge and applied last week. Passed the first exam no bother, and sat down tonight to go through part 2. I did a few pages, then went to go and take a break as it says in the guidelines you don't have to do it all in one sitting. I hit "submit and stop rating", and then it all appeared to be over and I got an email through about ten minutes later telling me I'd failed either because I wasn't good enough or because I didn't attempt to complete the exam? Did I do it wrong? Did anyone else have that problem? Should I just have kept going? Am I likely to get another go at it?

So annoying you can't get feedback from them! I'd just like to know if I was rubbish at it or whether they thought I'd chucked it half way through.

As you got the email 10 mins later you did finish the exam. Just sounds like you decided to take a break on the last question. I failed Part 2 first time and then passed on the 2nd attempt so dont worry as you usually get another attempt.

I failed the exam last week, but have been given a second chance, so looks like they are hiring...

Have u worked for any of the others ? Am trying so hard to get my foot in the door but can't even get to exam stage, was wondering if it's because I've Previously worked for lionbridge

I haven't, no (but I got knocked back from Lionbridge for applying for Leapforce when I applied to them after having failed the Leapforce exam first time round. So I'm going to have to pass the Leapforce exam this time!)
