Harrumph!
I've just had an email telling me off for accessing LF from outside my country of residence and telling me I'll be terminated if it happens again.
Fair enough, except I haven't been out of my country of residence since December 2013....and I certainly had better things to do than access LF on my Caribbean holiday.0 -
Hello all,
I passed all parts of the exam last week (woo!), and signed & returned the paper work Friday. Had an email at midnight last night asking me to confirm years of residency in my country so have just emailed in response saying.
Is this what other people did too? I tried logging onto the website to see if I was meant to submit the information there but I can't get onto it yet!MFiT-T4 #75: £142,480 to £86,700 by Jan 2019

That's the same as happened to me when I started a few weeks ago - I had the residency e-mail about 9pm, then was fully up and running by 11pm that same night! So I imagine you'll be active later this evening.0 -

Great thanks, that's what I was hoping to hear! Wasn't sure if emailing them was the correct thing to do (I've heard others say they're not great and picking up/responding to emails.)MFiT-T4 #75: £142,480 to £86,700 by Jan 2019

It's probably a time difference thing - if they e-mailed you at midnight it would've been 5pm their time so about the end of the working day.
Then the real fun starts!!
Be sure to lurk on the International channel on chat once you have access, it's loads of help.0 -
Hiya, I've just stumbled across this thread having previously read some of the LB thread and from I can see there are sort of similar? Not sure if thats the case? I'm slowly reading through the last 90 odd pages so forgive me if these questions have been asked before:
1)Are you classed as self-employed? ie do you need keep records, pay your own tax and NI etc. I currently have a part time job but am looking to supplement if possible
2)Are there a certain number of hours you have to do each week? Or do you just sign up for what you think you can realistically do?
3)There always seemed to be a time limit to your contract on LB (although I was never an agent and I'll be honest I've not read the thread in a while!) is this the case with LF?
4)It doesn't seem to mention how much you'll be paid, is this dependent on what project/s you do? can someone give me a rough idea of what I can expect? I obviously don't want to jump through hoops, work for a month then find out I'm being paid £50 for 100 hours work or something!
5)Someone mentioned getting charged to receive their pay, is this the case of all banks? Any banks that don't charge?
6)As I'm new to this, has anyone got any helpful hints or tips or things to expect that you found out when you were new?
Thanks guys, I'm sure I'll add more as I get through the pages!0 -

Yes you do but all you need to do is to take your totals for each month so it's very straightforward
2)Are there a certain number of hours you have to do each week? Or do you just sign up for what you think you can realistically do?
There is a requirement to do 200 tasks in a rolling 30 day period but this is not difficult. You can do as much as you want.
3)There always seemed to be a time limit to your contract on LB (although I was never an agent and I'll be honest I've not read the thread in a while!) is this the case with LF?
You are on a 6 month contract but as long as your work is good enough you can be renewed - there are people on their 3rd 6 month contract.
4)It doesn't seem to mention how much you'll be paid, is this dependent on what project/s you do? can someone give me a rough idea of what I can expect? I obviously don't want to jump through hoops, work for a month then find out I'm being paid £50 for 100 hours work or something!
Cannot mention pay because of the NDA but it is above minimum wage and 100 hours would get you a nice pay packet!
5)Someone mentioned getting charged to receive their pay, is this the case of all banks? Any banks that don't charge?
No, not all banks charge.
6)As I'm new to this, has anyone got any helpful hints or tips or things to expect that you found out when you were new?
If you apply, take time to read the study material before attempting the exam. It has a very high failure rate so you need to study. Once you are hired, there is a lot of information on the site which is helpful and the chat is very useful.
Thanks guys, I'm sure I'll add more as I get through the pages!
Hope that helps!0 -
Hello everyone! Im new here! I have googled this line in the next quote and I found this interesting forum..Thank you for your interest in becoming a Leapforce At Home Agent.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you a contract at this time. We will keep
your qualification information on file, should other opportunities become
available.
That was the email `ve just got from leapforce after passing the exam and signing the contract,i feel so so pained, any suggestion what i should do thinking of sending an email to them asking for a reason.
Any replies will really be appreciated
I think this post was on page 50 here.. anyway, Im from Egypt and I`ve taken the exams and passed them all. but then I had to wait a full month as they kept asking me to wait till they finalizing my paper work, so I waited till I decided to send them an E-mail wondering if Im going to start work anytime soon and so they sent me this mail above followed by this one as well:
We're sorry we are unable to proceed at this time as there are no available opportunities for you.
I was really disappointed. anyway I was wondering if Leapforce hires people from Egypt in the first place, or any other countries outside Europe? does anyone know that? cause if they dont so what`s the point of allowing me to participate in the exams after studying their guidelines and all of that crap?? I mean if there were no opportunities in the first place why bother searching for raters from countries you are not interested in??
As for conditions I think I dont have any problems, Ive lived in Egypt all my life, my English is not bad and I really passed the exams so what more they want me to do?
After so much studying and working on this, after passing the exams and having to wait for a month where they kept stalling by claiming they are finalizing my "paper work" I have the right to be damn frustrated. I just wish someone to answer any of my questions if they have any experience about a similar situation.
Thanks in advance, I appreciate the work you do here on the forum.0 -

Yes they do have people from Egypt working for them. I have seen several raters in chat from Egypt and there will be many more that don't use chat.
If you have passed all the tests then maybe they will ask you to work some time in the future. I sympathize with you because after doing all that work to pass your tests, you deserve work. Congratulations on passing the tests; that is not easy to do.0
