Does anyone know if you can work for Leapforce and Appen as a Search Engine Evaluator? I know you can't work for Leapforce and Lionbridge as they share a client, but Appen and Leapforce have different clients. From my search, I have found conflcting information. Some say you may be able to get away with it but to be honest, I wouldn't want to take the risk of being banned from both. I haven't seen anywhere categorically say that it's allowed or not allowed. Seems to be a grey area with these two.0

I emailed Appen and asked the question directly and was told No. They are competitors therefore you cannot work for both.0 -
Quick question on invoicing as preparing my first one: Do people round up the seconds recorded in RA to the nearest full minute or round up or down depending on which is nearest?0

Hi everyone,
Just to say a big thank you for all the helpful information and advice on this thread - I passed the exams last week, completed all the paperwork yesterday and am now good to go
Lots more reading and practising to do before I start though but looking forward to getting stuck in!0 -
Hello everyone, I wish I had found this thread before now!
I applied to Leapforce earlier this week and was sent the first exam today.
I started reading through the Guidance material this evening but also opened up the exam questions at the same time to see what they were like without realising it was a timed test!
So I ended up timing out of the first five questions (because I was reading the guidance material blissfully unaware that there was a time limit on the questions). I went on to answer the rest of the questions and think I did OK on them but I feel really really stupid now for doing that. If I've messed up my chances at this I'm going to kick myself.
I don't suppose anyone else did anything similar when they were doing the exams?
Hopefully will get to know you all a bit more if I haven't already scuppered my chances!MFiT-T4 #75: £142,480 to £86,700 by Jan 2019

Don't worry too much, you may not have actually missed any and even if you did, causing you to fail, you may still get the option for a one-time re-take.
I'm pretty sure that no aspect of the test is timed though unless it has recently changed.0 -
