Fedex have the details of the sender - it has his name and address on the invoice, but the invoice has been sent to my address, and as I said earlier they've mixed up our names -using my christian name and his surname.

I would have liked the oppertunity to either not accept unsolicited mail for which I'd be subject to a fee, or to soet it out personally, thus avoiding fedex's £10.50 admin fee.

    right,so thats fedex
As I said, the recipient is often the person ordering the goods.
So would there be a game of charging pinball, whilst all these items are held?
also my previous my question related to Royal Mail(given the courier set up is simpler to change)

Sorting it out personally would cost you much more than £10.50.

If you don't want to pay call FedEx and tell them to bill the shipper.

They will bill the person who bought the item from the site if that's what you want to happen.
  • So to further the story, I've been looking into all the paper work and the Sender did tick the "Sender to pay all duties and taxes" box but due to FedEx missing an account number(?) due to it being from the USA, they state that leaves me liable.

    This is the worst system.

Thats FedEx's problem, not your's - call them and ask them to bill the shipper.
