My dad owns a logistics company and he employs trade plate drivers. The ones I've met are certainly a very happy bunch!
Makes a change! Most of the ones I know are miserable as sin :rotfl:
I like collective nouns, a flock of sheep, a gaggle of geese, a murder of vultures.
I'm told the correct term for people of my profession is a whinge of platers.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

I quite like my job. Mind you, I've only been working there for a couple of weeks! The main part of my employment is enabling for vulnerable adults and I only do this very, very part time. It's not crucial to my income as I have several other passive income streams so if it gets too much I could leave without it impacting on my finances.
It's also zero hours so if I don't want to take the hours offered I'm not obliged to.
I do like helping people though and as the volunteers lists are heaving with applicants in my area at the moment, this seemed like the best way to go. Lucky I guess that I can pick and choose what I do but that's one of the good things of passive income, you get to choose what you do (if anything!)
When summer hits, I might just decide to be a beach bum.

I do love my job. I have worked in different areas, bar work, retail, call centre, etc. I now work in revenue management and i love it because i feel that this job suits me, and i can do it well and have been for the past 7 years.
It also helps that the management is great and i get along with all my colleagues!
As far as being excited about going to work well that can vary, sometimes i really dont want to get out of bed in the morning to go to work. Other times i can be looking forward to it - especially when i have projects on or we have special days planned. You can never be old and wise if you are not first young and stupid0
