I bought my extra HD box off eBay for £60, when you pay for HD and already have multi room you don't pay extra for HD to your second box, not sure if this is the answer you're looking for.0

thanks but i dont have multiroom nor do i want to pay for it! but i guess i would pay (one off)for a second HD box, but would this enable me to watch the other telly in HD without the Multiroom subscription?0

Do you have a satellite cable going into whatever other room you want to view HD in? You would need that.
If you don't do you have an aerial feed in the other room? If so you could buy a TV with an HD tuner.0
