Sky Multiroom Deals available!

I am an existing sky TV customer. I intended to have a multiroom for my 2 bedrooms. I rang sky and they offer to give me one box free while i pay £49 for the other. Is there a way around this?

My current main box is 2 years old. Can i ask for new one?

How could i go about this?

Cheers

Buy your own box off eBay but at £49 probably cheaper from Sky. Don't forget that you need a phone connection to both boxes with multiroom.

Seriously you want to spend an additional £20.50 / month for a double multiroom subscription?
Have you considered saving your money and using a couple of TV Links.

Do you really need sky in both rooms though.

Have you thought of just putting freesat in the other rooms.

Initial cost is high but no subscription, ever.

The Humax one that you can pause, rewind, record etc is brilliant and its HD too.

Richer Sounds have some great deals on, specially if yu buy two.

Surely the people occupying those bedrooms want to watch different programmes than those in the living room? Perhaps they also want separate recording facilities ?
High Definition is also not possible through the RF out.
