blackhorse ppi

Hi all

I just filled in a questionnaire that black horse I sent me regarding ppi (I had not contacted them, this just come in the post, out of the blue)

I am not sure what account this form relates too, as I had 2 cars and one secured loan with them

It is mainly just questions about if you worked, and if u had other cover in place etc.

I have written on the form that I am unsure which account the letter relates too and can the check all accounts in my name with them for a refund,

Will this suffice or should I send off any additional form or letter, or just wait and see what reply comes back

Tia

    Of course.
They had valid and verifiable complaint reasons.

I too received a questionnaire from Black Horse without having contacted them first. I filled it in and returned it, and exactly 8 weeks later they responded with a settlement offer. I accepted and returned the offer letter first class, and today, 5 weeks exactly later I have another letter from them telling me that my cheque for £2100 has been posted and should be with me in 5 days. So whole process has taken about 14 weeks start to finish.

Go u!! That is fantastic news!

I am delighted for u, any plans for your windfall,

Maybe they are sending out these questionnaires to people who are likely to get a refund!

    Well done
  • Oooo I had the same questionnaire. I filled it in and sent it back last week had a letter this week saying they will investigate and get back to me within 8 weeks. I've already claimed back £9300 from loans and £3500 from credit cards so fingers crossed its 3rd time lucky. I never knew I had PPI on my BH loan.

Yes well chuffed, especially since it was them that raised it in the first place! Think we'll have a couple of days away over Easter thanks to Black Horse!:j

Best of luck with your claim - let us know how it goes.:)

While your chances of a successful claim are significantly higher than a "cold" complaint, you will still need valid and ( preferably) verifiable mis-selling complaint reasons to be certain.

The Banks are indeed writing to likely victims of mis-selling where they have identified a general failing which may have impacted lots of people.

Black horse told us that we would not get approved for the finance if we didn't take the PPI, also I was ticking "yes" to lots of answers on the questionnaires, eg did you have life assusance, did you get sick pay from work, etc. I am hoping this helps.
