have just gone to pick dd2 up from work placement and while waiting opened the glove box and two rice porkies fell out, they expire on 28th feb so will have to go and use them on eggs me thinks, the only thing is they are ones without receipts, what shall I do, add a random receipt or just wait for the screams??? (they are ones that don't say must have receipt).0

I have 8 balms coming so I'm sure I'll find them good homes if I won't use them but will be nice if I would or even DS could use them. We'll have to do a spot test first because of his excema, I really don't want that flaring up or I'll have 'lobster boy' back again as it usually takes a week or two for his skin to calm down after wards!
Glad to see you posting again, I was wondering to myself this morning how you were getting on

Went into the Metro in N0rth**pt0n town centre and they had loads of full price Pork joints beside a SEL proudly proclaiming they were half price. Unfortunately every one that I bought went through at full price. The staff removed the SEL after they discovered the error but hopefully there may be more in other stores.
Whilst in the store, the CS proclaimed that the "meal deal wasn't working again". I think this was in reference to the sandwich meal deal rather than the £10 Finest version.0 -
Evening luvlies
Thanks to OP, re BS have 2 confirmed orders here. Will go back and thank them now :T
Edit: Found you, many many thanks to Iamsohappy - I'm happy too nowWoo hoo, what a morning :j:j:j
Firstly went to The Range and got some nice cheap frames to put photos of boys in for the Mums/Grandmas for mothers day. Impressed at some of their baking stuff so treated myself to some nozzles
Next to big Ts, got a few of the 4+4 Kit Kat Chunky's, they had few price cuts in homewares. Managed to get a spare of the fleece blanket that DS cuddles for £3.75 so no more tantrums when it's in the wash :T Also had cereal toppers RTC for 10p, perfect little snack pack size.
Next off to Asda living store where they still had a dozen or so of the Huggies carry packs at £2.94. Only size 3 left so daren't buy too many. Will only be able to shoehorn the baby's bum into this size for a couple more weeks :rotfl: Couldn't leave them all there at that price thoughAlso had some sale toys so got DS1 some Toy Story (what else ) buildable figures things for 56p for his after nursery treat.
Home to find postie had delivered my freebie Grazia mag from O2 priority moments and a lovely bright envelope (Thanks Hampy:A:D) Really cheered me up
Then to top it all off a BS glitch!!!! Have put 2 orders through for bags/candles and hemp moisturewash/make up/chill me out bath stuffMemory not so bad today as even remebered TCB

Sets scene, Xmas day, 20 people invited for dinner. House tidy, turkey cooking, gifts ripped open.
The rest of family did usual visits, leaving me in charge of the spuds
Under specific orders to only par boil spuds for 15 minutes , boiled water, put in spuds on medium heat, set timmer for 15 minutes.
Poured a cheeky nip of brandy & babycham, turned on radio and got into the bath.
Not really sure what happened next. Heard some choice words, but thought nothing of it, until the acrid smell of welded saucepan filtered through.
After alot of shouting, I eventually unlocked the bathroom door and crept into my bedroom, to find some very angry faces waiting for me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
The spuds had welded to the pan, and the pan welded to the electric cooker :T:T:T
Could not see anything downstairs, just thick black smoke.
Banned from kitchen and Xmas forever.
Job well done :rotfl:
( notes no one told mrs f about this until after we married )Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
