    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sets scene, Xmas day, 20 people invited for dinner. House tidy, turkey cooking, gifts ripped open.

The rest of family did usual visits, leaving me in charge of the spuds

Under specific orders to only par boil spuds for 15 minutes , boiled water, put in spuds on medium heat, set timmer for 15 minutes.

Poured a cheeky nip of brandy & babycham, turned on radio and got into the bath.

Not really sure what happened next. Heard some choice words, but thought nothing of it, until the acrid smell of welded saucepan filtered through.

After alot of shouting, I eventually unlocked the bathroom door and crept into my bedroom, to find some very angry faces waiting for me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The spuds had welded to the pan, and the pan welded to the electric cooker :T:T:T

Could not see anything downstairs, just thick black smoke.

Banned from kitchen and Xmas forever.

    Job well done :rotfl:

( notes no one told mrs f about this until after we married )

We went on holiday many years ago and stayed in a hotel on a holiday camp.
I went off on a day trip with DS (much, much younger back then, not the snotty teenager he is now!) and DH stayed in the room.
I returned back to the hotel later in the day to find out they'd had to evacuate due to a fire drill.
It turned out DF (as he was back then) decided to do himself some sausages by frying them and managed to set off the smoke alarm for the entire complex :rotfl:
I don't think he's ever managed to live it down (oh and I still married him :D)

Do the balms appear on the bottom line of your order or the top?

If they deliver the balms I will gladly send you a few if you have no joy

Sorry must dash but wanted to let you know that walkers Doritos and Baxters multibuy discount are not showing v Morries:)

Edit from shop today at 13.29

I thought they had fixed the glitch for the shops earlier? Note to self - now have to read back through the thread, I thought you were all discussing BS glitch which I have not taken up yet (and still looking at Viking 5000 Nectar).

I have to pass an As Local on the way home so I could call in ... must resist ... it is now nearly 20 hours since my last As shop ... "Hi my name is Anon and I am a glitchaholic":wave:

Right caught up now, didn't realise that Iceland is also one of the shops for clicky snappy

Just caught up with Q and TC. TC everything has gone to payable for bo OH and my accounts. For Q nothing has tracked for OH and only one thing for me. But I've got the lists up to date for this week, put my old recs in the recycling, put all my sadas recs through and have about 4 that need printing.

The only thing that's really stuck are the tosco recs, huge wedge of them now, totally confused as to which I've put into the TPP machine and which I'm waiting for :D

Seem to have missed the BS glitch but I'm trying to use up the health and beauty stashes and not buy anything else. I've used their hemp products before and its quite strong smelling.
