I have to be included in the 11+ pan burners club !!

The hole house was in bed apart from me.

I put a pan on to sterilise some medical equipment, closed the door then settled down to watch Match of the Day.

When it was over, I went to the kitchen to return my night time drink glass, opened the door and that's when I realised I left the pan on :eek::eek:

The whole kitchen was full of thick black smoke, the pan was dry and very black, the sterilised equipment was completely [STRIKE]sterilised[/STRIKE] melted, and there was 'ash' floating around the kitchen.:eek::eek:

Smoke alarm did not go off as that is just outside kitchen, and the door kept all the smoke in!!

Opened all doors/windows leading to outside in order to get the smoke to blow through and out of the house.

Needless to say, her in doors (her asleep in bed at the time) was not a happy bunny in the morning.

Loads of grief about trying to burn the house down, trying to get rid of her etc etc.

Think I must have caught the pan just in time !!!!! (before it caused a fire) !!!

Well I am defeated - and I don't usually give in - just can't get the BS to work on anything.
Didn't manage it last time either, have spent several hours trying, so will just have to tell myself I didn't really want anything:(
Don't know what I am doing wrong, but just gives me the full price when I check out after entering the code which has something to do with the time of year?
    Hi Saversue
You are not the only one, I have spent all afternoon trying to get this to work, I have added the 2 hemp lip protectors, then tried 2 candles then the code for buy 2 get 2 free, it just keeps giving me the 2 lip protectors free!!!

    I give up!!:mad::mad:

Doesn't seem to be working for me. 2 hemp balms and 2 diffusers, but taking balms off.

I know my potatoes are ready for mashing when smoke alarm goes off :o :rotfl::rotfl:

Are you related to my mum?!
DS learnt from a young age that when in Nannys dinner was ready when the smoke alarm went off :rotfl: it was quite funny when it happened in a restaurant, he shouted out quite loudly that his nanny must have been in the kitchen helping them out, my mum went red and tried to hide from everyone. I must admit that due to him having hearing loss he did shout very loudly :o
I can't remember an meal in my mums where the smoke alarm hasn't went off, DS once asked DH why the smoke alarm only went off in Nannys when food was ready but never in anyone elses and did that mean the food wasn't cooked right?

Hi, good to see you posting again, hope all is ok.

Thanks for asking, I've been on the sick since November, with 2 slipped discs in my neck so can't drive as it affects my left side, all I seem todo is pop pills all day 23 in total, but being off you'd think I have more time to be on here but, I don't know where the days go, but I'm normally at the chemist, Doctors or Bupa, although I still do alot of work from home.

I only came on to see if there was a new thread yet and atlast a Bodyshop online glitch that even I can do :D.

    It's made my day.

    See you later
