You need to multiply £2.99 ( £10.99 - £8.00 ie the overcharge per kg) by the weight on the pack you bought. Then deduct that sum (which is what you SHOULD have been charged )from the actual price on the pack. That gives you the overcharge. Multuply that by 2 for DTD.
See i thought that the overcharge would have been the £2.99 x by the weight. as once you deduct it as you say that is what you should have been charged not what you were overcharged the overcharge is the first sum so the lesser amount, if that makes sense.i may be wrong but that is what i thought.0 -

Thanks.....for a dummy like me, this is probably the best way. I'm confusing myself more and more. Is it too early to start drinking. Oh wait, thats probably the reason my braincells are dead.....
It's a vicious circle :rotfl:
I wouldn't have bought at your examples price, but obviously depends on your budget. The DTD is calculated:
Pack price 10.99 x 1.349 = 14.83
Price should be from SEL 8.00 x 1.349 = 10.79
Difference 14.83 - 10.79 = 4.04
So Double the Difference is 2 x 4.04, ie 8.08
Meaning pay 14.83, but get DTD 8.08 refund so actual final cost is 6.75
As I say, too expensive for me.Worth knowing how to work this out though, as customer service will probably get their sums wrong, but not necessarily wrong in your favour - although so far, for me, they have!!I am not young enough to know everything.0 -

I was put off by reviews about uneven background light, pink/green tinges or lines. But the one I looked at instore looked great.0 -
