Emily_Rachel wrote: »Good morning everyone. When worming my cats I try a cheap tasty pate as disguise. A tiny bit without pill so that they get the taste for it then a bigger bit with the pill hidden inside. Of the 3 cats it always works on one, sometimes on another, but the third.... no chance! We have to resort to wrapping her quickly in a towel (to disable the flaying claws a little) and flicking it down her mouth, holding jaws closed until she swallows. Sometimes this works first time. Funnily enough this is also the cat that really loves crunchy cat biscuit treats. Now if only someone would come up with a worming pill that looks and tastes as good as a cat treat. Hmmmm. I think I have an idea ....!
You really would think they would make them so they would want to eat them. They must be rank as my cavalier eats anything! I had to cut the one last week into 4 and roll it in a big blob of butter to get her to swallow it.0 -
I thought the ketchup was only on quidco for one day? It says 22-24 now. :j My Ts express didn't have it yesterday so I can get in As today0

hurrys stuff up
During the week it's fine. At the weekend, it's the really old harridan and the full figured one and they don't budge. You can tell them you will phone head office, and they actually write their name down. I won't bother. Good luck everyone else.Ah but this is slightly different, the serum was priced at £0.00 last time but it's correctly priced now, I don't know why it goes into the basket free because it should be chargeable but have a try... I've done 3 orders, 1 last night and 2 today all confirmed not cancelled as yet (give it time lol!)
Well I have had an acknowledgement and a confirmation, so it's all good. Thanks for pointing this out to me lovely, I owe you.fairclaire wrote: »Thanks for this mimiI can only get it to add 1 free gift. But am in phone so I'll have another go when I get home.
They have stopped the high definition body lift now, so it's only 1000 points and the tonic gift thing. Still good though. They had that 3 super sized samples at Debenhams recently. The lady was really nice at the till and each time, she gave me 5 instead of 3. It really does help to tell them how nice their hair looks even if it does look like a donkey's tail.;);)

Check the price as the lamb is marked at £6.00 per kg at most places so you'll pay approx £1 per kg.
Cheers! Will keep an eye out for this! :beer:If the joint was £14.83 then it weighed 1.349kg.
So you multiply that by £8.00 per kg making £10.79 for the joint.
Difference £4.04 so DTD refund £8.08 making cost of joint £6.75.
I got 3 joint of the slow roast beef yesterday. Paid £29.17 and got £21.78 DTD back. I got more Dtd there cause the beef was on offer for £5.00 a kg but went through at £8.00 a kg
hth
I always check the calculations when i get to the car for dtd as a lot of the CS people do not know how to work it out. Unfortunately it was the sour faced cs lady whose face was even more sour when she had to give me the money back. Off to Mr t for free drinks for cinema tonight. Got 2 free tickets to Argo from Mail On Sunday last week.
When i tidied up my shed last week i found 2 James Martin plain Dinner Services from 2 years ago when I got £840.00 worth of good in Mr t on DTD over 10 days.
Thank you so much! I've used your calculations with a calculator and it makes sense now! I get it!!!! I really appreciate your spoonfeeding me. Hopefully I'll be able to find the lamb and go for it armed with your simple explanation! :beer:You need to multiply £2.99 ( £10.99 - £8.00 ie the overcharge per kg) by the weight on the pack you bought. Then deduct that sum (which is what you SHOULD have been charged )from the actual price on the pack. That gives you the overcharge. Multuply that by 2 for DTD.
Thank you so much for your explanation!
Edit:
Oh gosh...now I'm confused again. I'm getting 21.59 as the DTD using this methhod. Yikes.
Correct me if I'm wrong (which I prob am).
10.99 - 8.00= 2.00
2.00 x 1.349 (wt) = 4.03
14.83-4.03= 10.80
10.80 x 2 = 21.59
??? Told ya I suck.if you don't have anything nice to say, keep schtum.

Hi All
Just like to say thanks, got DTD in Tesco this morning on the slow roast beef joints - charged £8.00 and not £5.00 per kilo - CS only wanted to refund the difference, but stood my ground - £8.85 beef joint for £2.20 (ish)
Thanks once again to the OP!0 -
Thanks so much for this FloFlo, picked up some for DD1's Bestie. Got her 4 packs of the Size 3, 60 in a pack for £2 a pack. She's just texted me, ever so grateful to you too.
Lots on top shelf, so in Lala's words "Look up". Empty shelves for size 4.
Also noticed the starter packs are now £2.74 (after going back up after the baby promo). HTH:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
