No secret Dave, a very old family recipe Im happy to share.

Tablet.

• Tin of condensed milk,
• bag of sugar (minus two tablespoons, stick them in your sugar bowl, this recipe is pre metric)
• a cup of milk
• knob of butter.

Put these in a heavy based pan and melt very slowly, it takes about 45 mins on no 2, it will come to the boil, no need to rush it, thats the secret of this recipe, boil it for 20 mins, dont be tempted to turn up the heat.
When its a nice brown take off the heat and add a teaspoon of vanilla essesce and beat it till it thickens, pour it quickly into a greased or lined baking tray.
Score it while warm and break it when cold, if you can leave it that long.:D

Morning everyone:)Just nipping in really quickly and one for the "snappers" because this has really made me giggle. Whoopsied loads of Hovis loaves last night at 14p a loaf, put it in to TCB and its payable this morning at 25p:T:T:TSo now I'm getting paid to take my whoopsies away:T

Oh gosh...now I'm confused again. I'm getting 21.59 as the DTD using this methhod. Yikes.

Correct me if I'm wrong (which I prob am).

10.99 - 8.00= 2.00

2.00 x 1.349 (wt) = 4.03

14.83-4.03= 10.80

10.80 x 2 = 21.59

??? Told ya I suck.

£10.99 - £8 = £2.99

It's brilliant isnt it? I bought 8 of them so put them in with Quidco as well, so if they pay out for another 3 that'll mean all my 8 loaves will have cost 14p:T:T:T

Well I have had an acknowledgement and a confirmation, so it's all good. Thanks for pointing this out to me lovely, I owe you.

They have stopped the high definition body lift now, so it's only 1000 points and the tonic gift thing. Still good though. They had that 3 super sized samples at Debenhams recently.
