couponqueen123 wrote: »omg ppl shuld really think before phoneing fire brigade(like go see yr naibour and cheak its not a "garden fire" fire fighter and all services are streched enough, i must admit im against fires in the day in built up areas , but in the evening im ok as my windows and washing are in
and kids (im sure yr DH was only burning whats allowed ) this is just my crazy naibour
my naibour is awful burns plastic , car tyers, the lots , im not the only naibour whos been complaining but defo the one who made sure he knew i was going to sort this out;) but i dnt phone fire brigade (i tend to go have a word/argument with him and once hose piped his fire out :rotfl::rotfl: as my garden was covered is ash and the kids toys:mad:
so i kindly reported him to council/enviromentlal health few months back and he got a letter to say no more plastic/no burning things that arnt supost to be and to be more considirate and he came to appoliogise and we agreed any time after 6 pm or if he come to see me first to ask me to close windows and get washing/kids in i will no problem(with in reason;) i wont be doing it all the time ) and he can do his fire(been a long dispute with crazy time:o
but glad it sorted and my other naibours are naw all happy to :rotfl:
We have a neighbour who is into this - my OH did say something to him last year and apparnetly he has offical personal documents he needs to burn - whatever those are. Having said that dont we all have offical documents so why are we not all having garden bonfires ???
Also it wasnt a paper smell but a plastic one
As part of neighbourss job and also through his other contacts I know for a fact he has access to shredders and incinerators - more access than many of us.
And then when he is not having bonfires he also has barbecues and we have to shut all the windows again so the house is not full of acrid burning fat smell
Anyway I am going to keep a note this year of times and dates so I can write to the council. He had one going on Sunday, lovely sunny day to be out in the garden for an hour or 2 but he was burning paper again“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Ds car got broken into last night and radio taken which was his Christmas present and the only thing he asked for. not looking forward to telling him when he gets up for uni. hope everyone is well x
Oh dear it's a pest isn t it. One of my sons had his pinched in Tesco s and the other son only put his speakers in on the afternoon and they were stolen that night
One cheeky thief was busy trying to dismantle our double glazed window in our garage which had been converted to a bedroom. He was merrily putting the pieces round the window on the wall and was about to lift the glass out and luckily my son who works in Tesco ( well actually the both do ) was awake waiting to get up at about 4 in the morning hear the noise so got up to investigate and when the burglar saw him he shot off exactly like a thief in the night. lucky my son was there.
Then there was the time when I was up early one Saturday morning on my exercise bike and I happened to look out of the patio doors and saw a peepingtom watching me, just his face as he was on the floor hidden by a wall. I don't know who was the most afraid but he shot off too. there are other examples I could tell you but that ll do for now lol. Ps we don't live in a rough place either lol0 -

the notes will help but you dnt need them are other naibours complaining,
ring council and log a complaint then collect yr evidence and present it (you dnt need to do this i didnt i just rang and waited few day for evviromnt health to get back to me and they asked for his address and sent letter ,
but yr council might want you to do diffrent
so ring and ask ,
but good luck and if you can reach his fire(not bbq or him:eek:) with your hose pipe do it its gr8t (i know i shuldnt say this but it gave me gr8t satisfaction to see his face when i did it and to watch him go mad at me and i just walked away and he came hamering my door and i told him that if he didnt go away id open the window and chuck water at him :rotfl: or phone the police:eek: ( he went running back to his pit )
just to let you know theres not much they can do for bbq ,0
