Contact with alcoholic father - what to do

Ok, here's an update.
After I returned home on Saturday, I found an email in a folder that I have especially for him where all mails received from him go into straight away. It was sent Saturday morning, telling me that he has caught the Norovirus and won't be attending.
He was specifically told not to correspond with me by the judge when we went the week before.
He should have called the Contact Centre, that is the procedure and he didn't manage to do that.
I have spoken to my solicitor today and she says I would be well within my rights to stop contact now, which I have now decided to do.
So guess I will just have to wait for the fallout from that. Or maybe he won't bother anymore. We shall see.0 -
Do the right thing by your daughter, do what the court has ordered, it's not very often so you should be able to take her there without it disrupting her routine. I also think, they need to have a relationship, I assume when they see each other, he's not all over the place so she can't know how bad things are.0
