Rug taken outside and shaken.. OH proceeded to break the washing line... ggrrr... good excuse for me to get a roundy roundy one I can reach from the safety of the paving though..;) He can fix said line soon.
Middle room vacuumed and half the hallway done at which point I collapsed in a heap on the chair again. I have absolutely no energy whatsoever
Best go feed the imps, load the DW, fold some laundry, empty the bins and sweep the kitchen. *yaaaaaawwnnn*LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I'd not be too disheartened the cheapies seem to be a bit hit and miss and some take about half an hour to show a +ve line or it is so faint it is barely there.. I have done almost every test known to man and beast and have found they are all much the same, though the digi ones are less sensitive early on.
I've had +ves anything from 10 days up to 3 weeks after ov.. it varies greatly.
Do another in a couple of days, one way or another you will find out eventually
i wouldnt be too disheartened tbh im expecting it too take a while for some reason. my friend is coming over friday so if AF still hasnt appeared shes going to pick a test up on the way to mine. .... knowing my body its just my body messing with me ... i will be extreamly shocked if i was because tbh i dont 'feel' pregnant .... with my son i knew even before my period was due and still dont know why or how i knew now .... he was 3 failed contraception's obv ment to be xxx will let you know if i have any news catch up later off to try and get some flying done .... hugs to all those that need/want one xx200 weeks £25,000.00 / £7000 -

Optimistic Mummy try to relax about it - you never know and may have some good news a bit later in the week. Don't keep testing and POAS as it ends up costing a fortune .... or so I'm told
(DH had to ban me buying tests cos I got a bit too keen on testing early!) Sorry you're feeling unwell
Laloola it'll be lovely to see your progress on here!
Pigpen lucky you having a washine line (or about to have one) - with our chicken run and trampoline etc we haven't even got room for something as unimportant as a washing line .
Toochoosey you're going great guns with your sorting out. Want to do mine? Found a hideous old pair of wooden clogs hidden away in our porch which are DH's - if I dare to touch them he'll hit the roof. Oh the joys of being married to a hoarder *sigh*.
Been baking this afternoon - honey, lemon and yogurt cake (made with the Kenwood Chef
) and banana loaf. Going to do lasagne for dinner or cottage pie - can't decide which. Kitchen looks like a bomb's gone off but that is to be expected when I put my apron on lol!
See you later.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Thanks Mumof2 xx
Unfortunately I haven't done much since!!! I have garlic bread in the oven and just about to put DD's dinner in..........xx0 -
Updating my list:
Monday - Kitchen
Level One
60 in 60 (newbie this is where you dash around the house for 60 minutes putting away or declutting 60 items)
Level Two
Hoover and mop the floor (Have hoovered, was going to mop but niggly children had other plans)
[STRIKE]Empty the bins[/STRIKE]
Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe the work surfaces[/STRIKE]
Defrost the freezer (Defrosts itself.I started doing an inventory, which I do by recording a voice note on my phone, but I was struggling to stand up any longer)
[STRIKE]Clean any windows/glass/mirrors in this room[/STRIKE]
Extras
[STRIKE]Send that email/message/phone call that you have been meaning to do for ages[/STRIKE] (ordered ink for cake printer)
Meal plan now you know what is in your defrosted freezer (Not really planning now as Im not eating.DH fetches his main at work and the kids have a seperate meal plan thats already done)
Oh and I cleaned the oven and the hob.I found "fairy expert" spray cleaner in Makro a while ago and it is fantastic.Made cleaning the inside door really easy with just a bit of steel wool
Vanilla I so sympathise, in our new house we dont have a DW and I miss it terribly. There is currently no where to plumb it in, but DH things he can jig the kitchen a bit to make space.Ive been buying bits to decorate, and its starting to look just how I imagined when we viewed. It makes dealing with the dodgy landlord a bit more bearable.
Truelymadly I dont rate the silicon cases for baking really, but then I dont do home baking really.I am a cake decorator. Have been "on a break" recently, because ill health had made it really hard work-and I just "lost it",but Ive recently met a girl who is keen to learn and has reminded me of all things that made me start decorating. A tip for which ever tin you choose ultimately-newspaper.If you pack your tins with newspaper when storing them, the paper absorbs moisture which prevents rust, doing the same with the silicon formers helps them maintain their shape
Pigpen You made me go rushing into the cake room with a broom.I remembered that whilst I was in there on Friday,I noticed a few HUGE spidey webs:eek:I was going to deal with them when I spotted them, but thankfully caught myself as there was a cake on the go at the time-and it wasnt even mine!
Babies have both been terrors today, whinging and moaning. So Ive not got to my 60.My intention was to do it when DH got home but I suspect Im going back to A&E instead:( Im having another attack with a new pain lower down that has happened a few times, but only since I had the scope0 -
DH has done more flying today than I have
He has posted a parcel and is sorting out his stuff in the garage :A

Went and collected the curtains from the nice people - OMG, lovely gorjuss curtains, from JLewis - waaaayyyy above our price range, heavily lined and weighted, they are up, drawn and being admired every 5 mins [by me of course as no-one else in the house would admire curtains lol]
Kids Tea done, DH is doing ours now
I'm soooo tired now - early bed for me
See you all tomorrow
Helen
PS LW - your visitor sounds like a little old lady needing a pee every 5 mins lol, you sound like a lovely dog carer xProjects made for craft fair - 40
1st fair on 13/4/14 :j0 -
I use silicone, big ones on a tray. Sometimes put cookaliner in too, as I find they can still stick a little.trulymadlydeeply_indebt! wrote: »Anyone here use silicone stuff? I'm worried about how much they bend as opposed to rigid metal.
Bossy - sounds like your DS is about to have a growth spurt - mine eat me out of house and home when they are.
I hope he's not growing again, he's just shot up recently. Maybe it's an after-effect? Filling out a bit?Morning
I have just had a long distance phone call saying that my computer has got a bad virus that wont show up etc. I left the gentleman go on for ages then told him I don't have a computer and he hung up.
:rotfl: I do that with most cold callers :rotfl:

Did my 60 split between last night and tonight. Mainly consisted of collecting washing and ironing, washing my packup stuff, putting bit of shopping away, making supper for tots etc
My freezers are not too bad - and I do have a meal plan. No messages to send, but I have checked and received a refund for a return.
So I'll consider myself done
Happy Birthday Natty!:bdaycake:Bossymoo
